Lindsay Lohan enjoyed an alcohol-free night out on Tuesday.

The Liz & Dick actress - who has battled drink and drug problems in the past - went for dinner at New York restaurant Rubirosa with a group of friends and family, including her grandmother and mother, Dina Lohan. However, onlookers say Lindsay was a world away from her former partying days and stayed on the soft drinks all night.

"She was drinking Coca-Cola, and seemed very coherent and at ease. She kept pulling out this notebook and writing or doodling, and getting up to go outside and smoke," one onlooker said.

While she was behaving herself on her night out, Lindsay was recently accused of trashing Elizabeth Taylor's dressing room trailer. However, Lindsay's representative Steve Honig has denied the Mean Girls star had anything to do with the damage.
