Clive Davis Admits to Being Bisexual

Clive DavisClive Davis has come out as bisexual. The music mogul - who was Whitney Houston's former manager and discovered the late "I Will Always Love You" hitmaker when she was just 20 - has confessed to having sexual relationships with men towards the end of his high-profile career, despite having been married to two women.

Clive, 80, admitted in a Nightline interview, "For over 50 years, I never had sex with a male. It wasn't repressed - I had very good sexual relationships with women. Never for me... this very maligned and misunderstood subject of bisexuality came up."

The producer - currently serving as the chief creative officer for Sony Music Entertainment - only became attracted to guys in middle age and confessed to having a 13-year relationship with a doctor and a seven-year relationship with another man. However, Clive is adamant he is bisexual and not gay, insisting his marriages were not for show.

When probed by the interviewer, "It's been said that people are either gay, straight or lying," he quipped, "Correct - and I'm not lying. [Bisexuality] exists."

Whitney's mother Cissy Houston recently slammed her daughter's long-term friend and mentor Clive, calling it "obscene" that he had invited her to his annual pre-Grammy Awards bash. The party took place last year at the Beverly Hilton hotel hours after Whitney - who had been scheduled to perform at the event - was discovered dead in her bathtub in the same building on February 11, 2012.
