Thanks to Entertainment Tonight‘s exclusive new pictures of Sandra Bullock, I have learned several new things about making public appearances:

1. If I ever decide to leave the house without makeup on, I’m telling the world that I’m “somber.” (It doesn’t matter that I’m simply going hiking.)
2. If I can only manage to crack an “occasional smile” for the paparazzi waiting for me along my journey, I’m giving off the impression that I’m really not happy. (Otherwise, photographers only deserve our best attitudes.)
3. If I don’t bother to put my wedding ring on, everyone will probably assume that my husband is a cheating sack of s**t. (And they’ll probably be right.)
