The unidentified mother of Jude Law’s fourth child is a secret no more.

I personally can’t recall the last time someone has held a press conference over a celebrity’s love child, but I’m definitely not surprised. Although Samantha Burke has no intention of doing any media interviews at this time, the Florida model for some reason chose to attend her own media event this weekend. (Has she ever heard of a faxed statement?)

At the presser, the aspiring actress’ lawyer read a statement while she stood close by. (She couldn’t have done that herself?) After telling reporters that the pregnancy will remain a private matter, Burke then chose to give a few closing words: “I just really would appreciate if everybody can respect my privacy.” (Ok - then let’s start by you staying inside your home.)

The 23-year-old, who met Law while he was filming Sherlock Holmes in New York, has already disclosed that her baby daughter will be named Sophia. The child is reportedly due on October 6.
