People's 'Sexiest Man Alive' might need to change his title to 'Most Eligible Bachelor.'

Just over two years after their wedding in Canada, Green Lantern's Ryan Reynolds and Iron Man 2's Scarlett Johansson, have called it quits. The actors who were rarely seen together -- try finding pictures of them -- confirmed the news today in a joint statement:

"After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we've decided to end our marriage. We entered our relationship with love and it's with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."

According to an Us Weekly source, their busy work schedules played a role in the decision. "The big problem with their relationship is the distance," the insider said. "They spent a lot of time apart when they are working. ... [Scarlett]'s been unhappy for a while."

Johansson and Reynolds are reportedly being "very civil" about the split, which happened about two weeks ago.
