UPDATE: Michael had no drugs in his system at the time of his death.

Entertainers Donny and have put their Las Vegas show on hiatus in order to deal with a family tragedy.

Late Friday night in Los Angeles, Marie’s 18-year-old son, Michael Blosil, jumped to his death from his apartment building in Los Angeles. A note left behind reportedly cited depression as the reason for his suicide.

“Please pray for my sister and her family,” Donny said in a statement Saturday.

Brian, who entered rehab back in 2007 for an unspecified reason, was one of eight children Marie and ex-husband Brian Blosil raised together. The coroner’s office is planning to conduct both an autopsy and toxicology tests.

Despite her grief, Marie also issued a statement through her rep: “My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time.” It is not known at this time when the Osmonds’ show at the Flamingo hotel may resume.

This is the second time in a week Hollywood has had to deal with news of a tragic death. On Thursday, the body of Andrew Koenig was discovered in Vancouver after several days of searching. The 41-year-old’s father, Walter Koenig, told the media that his son “took his own life.”
