Will there be any spiked eggnog for Mariah Carey this Thanksgiving?

On yesterday’s episode of Ellen, the talk show host addressed the pregnancy rumors swirling around the recently-married diva. Realizing the singer would probably have difficulty answering the question, Ellen DeGeneres was ready with a backup plan. If Carey wanted to prove she wasn’t pregnant, why not celebrate with a glass of champagne?

Starting at approximately the 4:45 mark, you can see Mariah start to worry (“This is peer pressure.”), provide an excuse (“I only drink after 3 p.m.!”) and then fake a sip.

Could this possibly mean maternity dresses in Carey’s future? Probably not. But given her April appearance on Oprah (the one right before she and Nick Cannon got married), I wouldn’t be surprised to see an exposed baby bump soon.
