After only 15 months of marriage, Kate Walsh‘s husband is calling it quits. Alex Young, a production co-president at 20th Century Fox, initiated the split citing the cliched “irreconcilable differences” as the reason. The filed court documents state November 22 as the official date of separation. (Nothing says “Happy Holidays” like divorce papers.)

The 41-year-old Private Practice star wed the film exec last September after a whirlwind courtship. The two met back in February 2007 and were quickly engaged three months later. It was at that same time people started questioning their relationship’s future.

According to a rep for both parties, the couple “remain on friendly terms and sincerely hope the media will respect their privacy during this difficult time.”
