Another day, another failed reality romance.

Approximately a year after viewers saw Ed Swiderski propose to Jillian Harris on The Bachelorette, the two have called it quits. This news comes just days after Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi publicly discussed their relationship’s demise with host Chris Harrison.

“I love him and I’m really sad, but I have to look out for me,” Harris cryptically stated about the canceled engagement.

Meanwhile, Swiderski comments lead us to believe that the decision to call the whole thing off was primarily his ex-fiancee’s. “We’re both kind of resetting,” the 30-year-old claimed. “Jillian isn’t happy and I’m definitely sad about the whole thing, but we’ve got to work through some things on our own if we decide to move forward.”
