Holly Madison has defended her decision to name her newborn daughter Rainbow Aurora.
The former Girls Next Door star - who welcomed her first child into the world at 11.59am on Tuesday morning at a Las Vegas hospital with her fiance Pasquale Rotella by her side - insists she doesn't care if people don't like the unusual moniker and wants her daughter to be grow up to be proud of who she is.
On her official blog on Friday, the 33-year-old Playboy model wrote, "There are a lot of smug haters out there who bag on my choice of a name, but I don't care about what they think. I want my daughter to be proud of who she is and learn to speak up and stand up for herself at a young age. I spent most of my life being a people-pleaser who worried about what other people thought or thought was cool and I don't want that for her. I have always loved the name Rainbow. There was a girl in my school a few years younger than me named Rainbow and I was so envious of her name because it was so pretty and unusual. She was perfectly normal, well-adjusted, sporty girl, by the way, so I'm not worried about my daughter being 'traumatized' by having an unusual name."

Lindsay Lohan Refuses Plea Deal

Lindsay Lohan is refusing to accept a plea deal which includes rehab or jail.
The 26-year-old actress has been offered 45 days in jail or 60 in rehab by prosecutors after being charged with lying to police about a car accident in California last summer but she has rejected both as she doesn't want any type of confinement.
"The Los Angeles City Attorney is requiring either jail time or rehab for Lindsay as part of any plea deal in her lying to cops case. She would have to go to rehab for at least 60 days, and the jail time would be at least 45 days. Lindsay refuses to accept any deal that has any type of confinement as part of the deal. Someone with her criminal history is lucky to be offered such a great deal, but she just doesn't seem to understand that. Barring any last shred of common sense on Lindsay's part, this case is going to trial," a source said.

Kristen Stewart Getting Love Advice from Taylor Lautner

Kristen Stewart has turned to Taylor Lautner for love advice.
The 22-year-old actress' relationship with Robert Pattinson, 26, has been strained ever since her infidelity with married director Rupert Sanders was discovered last year and Kristen is hoping their friend and Twilight Saga co-star Taylor, 21, can help.
"Kristen has been spending a lot of time with Taylor of late because she's been using him as a sounding board for her relationship with Robert. She thinks that he may have some insight in how she should proceed with Robert - and where their relationship is going. Robert and Taylor are also tight, so she's been fishing a little to find out if they have been talking about anything. But Taylor has just told Kristen that she has to give Robert time to heal still. It's not even been a year since the now infamous cheating scandal, so he can't be expected to forgive and forget so quickly," a source said.

Kelly Osbourne Rushed to Hospital After Seizure

Kelly Osbourne has been rushed to hospital after suffering a seizure.
The 28-year-old star was filming her E! Show Fashion Police with Joan and Melissa Rivers on Thursday when she had a seizure which lasted approximately 30 seconds and was then immediately taken to a Los Angeles hospital for treatment, according to Entertainment Tonight.
This is the latest health scare for Kelly after she recently sprained her ankle in a toilet. Kelly got her foot stuck in a rest room drain and opted to inflict a serious injury on herself rather than risk "eating the toilet" in the germ-filled public convenience. "Got my shoe stuck in a bathroom drain. I was faced w/ spraining my ankle or eating the toilet! Guess what I picked?" she wrote on Twitter. "I just could not bare the thought of my face landing in a public toilet! However I'm now questioning my decision due to the pain!!!!! (sic)" she added.
Kelly was also recently given an expensive bottle of champagne after rocks fell on her head at a hotel:

Alec Baldwin and Wife Expecting Baby Girl

Alec Baldwin and his wife are expecting a girl. The 30 Rock actor and yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas announced last month that they will welcome their first child together later this year and Hilaria has now confirmed the gender.
"Alec and I are overjoyed that we are going to be welcoming a little girl into our lives," Hilaria revealed on Extra.
While Alec, 54, is no doubt thrilled with the news, he will now have to work on choosing a new name for the tot after previously picking Massimo if he and Hilaria, 28, had a boy: "[Alec] had the idea for Massimo the other day. It's a lovely name, I just don't know. That's a very big name for a very little baby. We have a different idea almost every single day. I think you actually have to look at it once it pops out and say, 'Who are you? What is your name?'"
While the couple weren't planning on having a baby so soon after their June 2012 wedding, they cannot wait to welcome the latest addition to their family.

Anna Kendrick has split from director Edgar Wright.
The 'Pitch Perfect' actor had been dating Edgar since 2009 after he directed her in the movie Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, but the pair have now called time on their relationship because they found it difficult to maintain a long distance romance with Anna based in Los Angeles and Edgar in London.
"Anna and Edgar really love each other, but the relationship ended amicably. They're both great, funny people," a source said.
Anna spent a great deal of time in London during the course of their relationship and is a fan of all things British, recently revealing she craves English tea: "Every time I go to England the first thing I do is have tea. I crave it to the point where I panic, 'What am I going to do when I get home? I don't have a kettle.' But then the craving disappears - it's like something's pumped into the air."

Heidi Klum is serious about her boyfriend Martin Kristen.
The 39-year-old supermodel started dating her 40-year-old bodyguard a few months after splitting from husband Seal - with whom she raises four kids Leni, eight, Henry, seven, Johan, six, and Lou, three - last year and she has slowly fallen completely in love with him.
"Since they began dating last summer, the pair have gotten serious. She loves her life and enjoys sharing it with Martin who treats Heidi and Seal's kids like his own. She's able to focus on her career because Martin takes great care of them and enjoys staying in the background," a source said.
Seal is also dating again now and was recently spotted with former Power Rangers star Erin Cahill.

Chris Brown allegedly threw his bodyguard off a plane.
The controversial R&B star abandoned his long-time bodyguard Big Pat in Bermuda after a pit stop on the Caribbean island on Wednesday because the pair got into a fight on board.
An airport worker explained to The Bermuda Sun, "I'm not sure of the details of what happened on the plane but his plane came in, got services and everything was finishing and they were getting ready to leave. Then there was a stall. The security guard [Big Pat] got off first. He was standing outside talking to the pilot. Then Chris Brown and another guy came off. They had to come inside to Customs. They then went outside to have a cigarette. The security guard came inside [an airport building] and said he wasn't getting back on the plane."
The bodyguard told the staff member he had an "altercation" with Chris. Big Pat was forced to take a Jet Blue commercial flight to New York City's JFK Airport after the furious "Don't Wake Me Up" singer jetted off in his private plane.
Kim Kardashian Taken to the Hospital

Kim Kardashian was reportedly rushed to hospital on Tuesday night.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star - who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West - was taken ill on a flight back to Los Angeles from Paris and rushed straight to a medical facility amid concerns for her unborn baby.
"Kim started feeling ill on the plane from Paris, and called friends as soon as she landed. She was rushed to her doctor Tuesday night in tears," a source told The New York Post.
After being examined, Kim was given the all-clear by doctors at around 12:30 am and ordered to rest as medics are concerned she is working and exercising too hard. "Kim's not respecting her pregnancy. She's running around, working out seven days a week. She's working with two different trainers to control her weight, including Tracy Anderson and a pregnancy trainer. She's scared that her ass is as big as a couch and is going south. But she is having a very rough pregnancy, and doctors have ordered her to slow down," another source said.

Whether you're a popstar-turned-reality star or a royal, it seems that keeping mum on your unborn baby's gender is hard to do. Duchess Catherine seems to have spilled the beans on which sex she's expecting during a recent visit to the English town Grimsby.
According to 67 year-old Sandra Cook, Mrs. Prince William - upon receiving a teddy bear from someone in a crowd outside the town's fishing museum - said, "Thank you, I will take that for my d-..."
"I said to her: 'You were going to say daughter, weren't you?'" Cook added. To no one's surprise, Kate tried to save face by claiming that neither she nor William know the sex of the baby and added, "We're not telling."
Unless the duchess slips up in a more prominent manner or decides to announce the gender publicly, it looks like we'll all have to wait until the baby is born in July to find out whether Ms. Cook truly does have a sharp ear!
