New Reality Series for Bristol Palin

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Reality, Cable, News,
Like mother, like daughter. Bristol Palin is getting her own reality series with The Bio Channel. Ten episodes have been ordered so television watchers can see the exploits of Sarah Palin’s oldest offspring. This will not be Bristol’s first foray into the reality genre; she was previously seen on Dancing With the Stars.
The series will show Bristol’s move from Alaska to LA with her son Tripp. She’ll be living with Kyle Massey and his brother Christopher. Massey is best-known for his roles on The Disney Channel, particularly That’s So Raven.

Dancing Controversy: Winner Announced Before Finale Ends

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Dancing With The Stars, Gossip,
Bristol Palin wasn’t crowned the next winner of Dancing With the Stars. But if she was paying attention to Twitter, she would have found out well before the season finale was over.
Midway through the broadcast, Interscope sent out a tweet that congratulated Jennifer Grey on her victory … before the show had announced it.
The tweet was deleted moments later (so you won’t find it now), but it definitely went out prior to the show’s big announcement.
Hmmm.

Quote of the Day: DWTS’ Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Being Eliminated

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Dancing With The Stars, Gossip,
"Yeah, for me personally, it's probably the one that's the hardest to swallow. ...This season has just been ridiculous since day one. Just one after another after another. Brandy and I think this is the culminating point of this season, it just came crashing down. We almost feel like the effort wasn't worth it. We put in a lot of work. We put in a lot of effort. It's been a very, very difficult season. ... It just feels like it was an uphill climb the entire time and to really come that short of the finale. It's just very upsetting."
-Maksim Chmerkovskiy reacting to the surprise elimination this week on Dancing with the Stars. (Maksim and partner Brandy saw Bristol Palin make it to the finals over them.)

First Look: Bristol Palin Makes Her Acting Debut

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Cable, Video,
What would it sound like if the robot from Small Wonder crossed paths with Bristol Palin? Something like this.
On the July 5th episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Sarah Palin’s 19-year-old daughter uses her real-life experience to play a fellow teen mom at Amy’s band camp.
Let’s hope the rest of the hour fares better for Bristol. Otherwise, Tripp Johnston’s mommy will need to find a new way to bring home the bacon.
