Scottevest Tropiformer

Our friends over at Scottevest have just released its newest jacket, which it says is its best ever in the Tropiformer. In partnership with ThinkGeek, the Tropiformer features 22 pockets of various sizes that can hold things as small as a pen, to as large as a full-sized tablet. Like other Scottevest products, the Tropiformer also features the patented Personal Area Network, which allows you to wire your cabling through the fabric of the jacket itself, keepings things nice and neat. Oh, and the sleeves are connected to the jacket with magnets, making them super easy to remove and re-attach.

The Tropiformer jacket is available now, and can be purchased for $150 in blue, gray, cement, or red. We'll have a full review shortly.

Bleeding Edge TV 187: SCOTTeVEST Performance Shirts

So, we’ve shown you quite a bit as it relates to products in the past. Overall, we’ve been generally impressed with how the company is able to make clothing that is both fashionable and convenient for those of us who carry around way too many gadgets. In this episode of Bleeding Edge TV, we take a look at a couple of SCOTTeVEST Performance Shirts. These shirts draw moisture from your body, as they are made from a special lightweight fabric given the Cool Comfort treatment. As with all SCOTTeVEST products, the shirts feature the Personal Area Network (PAN) that lets you string your cords through the innards of the clothing, rather than having them dangle externally. Take a look at the video, and let us know what you think.

SCOTTeVEST story told on Donny Deutsch’s The Big Idea

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Wearables, Videos

We’re currently working on getting the new episode of Bleeding Edge TV up in a few minutes, where we review a couple of the latest performance shirts. However, we just came across this video on YouTube video featuring SCOTTeVEST’s own Scott Jordan on the Donny Deutsch Show talking about how the SCOTTeVEST brand came in to being. It’s an interesting look at one of our favorite clothing companies, plus you get to see Scott pull all sorts of craziness out of his vest. Good times.

SCOTTeVEST Performance T-Shirt

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Wearables, Design

SCOTTeVEST Performance ShirtWe have given some love to SCOTTeVEST products in the past, mostly because they impress the hell out of us. Recently, the company announced availability of the performance version of the SeV T-Shirt. This one is made from 3M Quick Dry fabric, and pulls moisture away from the skin in the event that you are in the midst of a two-hand touch football game at the park, or full-on tackle while playing Madden from your couch. The shirt has one pocket on the left, which has the now infamous SCOTTeVEST Personal Area Network tunneling system for your earbuds if you want to keep an MP3 player in there. You can pick up a short sleeved shirt for $29.99 USD, or a long sleeved version for $34.99 USD.

SCOTTeVEST 237D Jacket Review

SCOTTeVEST 237D

The SCOTTeVEST 237D is the updated version of the Three.0 Spring jacket that we reviewed about a year-and-a-half ago. We have been testing out the 237D in Seattle weather for much of December, and are finding that the 237D moniker - which stands for “237 days,” meaning you can wear it for 3-out-of-4 seasons per year - lives up to its name for the most part. The 237D features 33 pockets, and adds the Detachable Cargo Cache, built-in battery holders, addition magnetic enclosures, and two more pockets than the Three.0 Spring. Check out the full review after the jump.

The SCOTTeVEST Milan and Rodeo Technology Enabled Jackets

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Wearables

SCOTTeVEST Milan

While it is expensive, the SCOTTeVEST Milan makes a huge statement that justifies its price of entry. This jacket is the top of the line in portable entertainment gear. Unlike all the gadgets you will be carrying around, this piece of technology doesn’t make you look like a geek. Instead, we received numerous compliments on how great the jacket looked at our recent Mind Camp event. Think of it as the ultimate carrying case for any portable you own. That being said, remember that we have a coupon code for 20% off all SCOTTeVEST orders through December 25th, 2005. If you spring for the Milan, that will get you $90 off with free shipping. Just head on over to the Milan product page to pick one out, and use coupon code “GEARLIVE” during checkout to get your discount. You can check out our full review here.

This one has 39 pockets, and has all of the new SCOTTeVEST 4.0 features, such as the Detachable Cargo Cache Plus, and tons of magnetic closures, as well as the patented Personal Area Network. The SCOTTeVEST Rodeo is an affordable $199 USD - or just $159 after using our coupon code during checkout.
