Sonos S5 unboxing gallery

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Home Entertainment

After reporting on the existence of the , we were immediately excited to get our hands on a unit to see how it stacked up against the rest of the lineup. If you’ve followed us for any length of time, you know that we at Gear Live are huge fans, so it makes sense that our unit arrived as soon as they were available, and we had it set up within minutes. Literally.

The S5 is the easiest way to get up and running with Sonos. We had it unboxed, plugged in, and playing music in under five minutes, controlling it with an iPhone. The price is right too, something we’ve previously criticized Sonos about. The entry level into Sonos used to be $999, but with the S5 that drops down to $399. Put this one on your Christmas list, folks. We’ve snapped a bunch of images of the S5, which you can find in our Sonos S5 unboxing gallery.

Of course, we’ve got your hook-up, and have put together an unboxing gallery looking at the Zune HD, as well as everything else in the box. We must say, we were definitely stoked about this. For gadget lovers and lusters, the Zune HD is an adrenaline rush, what with its thin profile and gorgeous screen. Be sure to check out the full Zune HD unboxing gallery for all the goods.

We will of course have a Zune HD review coming for you as well, but since Microsoft opted to give us review units that wouldn’t work until the software update was available, that’ll have to wait a bit. We don’t wanna go singing the praises of (or totally trashing) a device until we’ve had some legitimate time to play with it while fully functional, thank you very much. But hey, if you like the pictures, then be sure to also check out our Zune HD size comparison gallery as well.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 unboxing gallery

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Cameras, Features, Galleries

A few months ago, released the amazing Lumix DMC-ZS3 digital camera, and we immediately took notice. After all, a point-and-shoot that features 10.1 megapixels, a 25mm ultra-wide-angle lens, and an astounding 12x optical zoom was certainly something that commanded attention. The camera also boasts a Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens and records high definition 720p video in AVCHD Lite format, at 60 frames per second no less. We were finally able to get our hands on one now that the Lumix ZS3 isn’t constantly sold out everywhere we turn, and we’ve put together a gallery of Panasonic Lumix ZS3 unboxing images to show off the camera itself. Our pal Nate True has been using it, and from all accounts, he loves it. You can pick up a Panasonic Lumix ZS3 at Amazon.

E3 2009: EA Booth Tour

Every convention has a booth that becomes the “hangout” or the “meet-up” booth for friends and crowds to gather after walking the show floor. At , the EA booth was certainly that spot. Located at the entrance of the South Hall with a stage ample enough to have three dance crews have dance offs, this booth became the ideal location. Not only did the girls working out with EA’s Active attract the crowds, but also great presentations like Real Time Worlds’ APB which had everyone sitting in awe. When you didn’t find me conversing with the many people I met up there, I was playing or watching others play games. Madden 10, Harry Potter, Dead Space Extraction, EA Active, Need for Speed Shift, G.I. Joe, Tiger Woods 10, Brutal Legends and NHL 10 are just some of the games that could be found at the show floor.

We’ve snapped a good 16 images showing you the Lumix LX3, along with everything else that’s included in the box. Our only regret? That we couldn’t use the Lumix LX3 to shoot the unboxing of itself.
