The Charm is made just so you can print 4 x 6 prints, and is made with a handle for ultra-portability. It also features many layout options and color effects and boasts the highest print resolution of its class at 5760 x 1440 dpi.
The Epson PictureMate Charm is available now for $150. It comes with ink and 100 sheets of either glossy or matte-finish 4 x 6 inch photo paper.

Take a look at the Vioguard self-sanitizing keyboard, a fantastic device for those of you with Monk-like OCD.
It begins when the user waves his or her hands before the unit, and the keyboard appears. There is no button to push, because it assumes that your hands are pretty much contaminated. The user can then type on the keyboard, and once he or she leaves, the keyboard will retract automatically in order to bathe the contaminated keyboard in ultraviolet light.
Of course, good health costs money, and this one is about $899. I suppose hospitals would probably be willing to spend that much for it, but an ordinary business? Probably not.

Dell Latitude Z introduces wireless induction charging
Posted by Mark Rollins Categories: Accessories, PC / Laptop, Peripherals
Dell‘s new Latitude Z has a few very features, with the highlight being a wireless charging station. You just place the notebook on there, and it charges without you actually connecting any plugs or wires.
In addition to this wireless charging, the user also has the option of wireless docking to an accompanying monitor.
Another nice touch is the “instant on” feature, a sliding touch control not visible in the photo. These controls can be customized by the user.
Of course, all this will cost you. The Latitude Z retails for $1,999. The wireless charging station and the docking station are $199 each.

Microsoft’s Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 is their thinnest ever
Posted by Mark Rollins Categories: Accessories, Microsoft, PC / Laptop, Peripherals, Wireless / WiFi

Clearly, revealing the Courier tablet prototype was not enough for Microsoft, as they have topped themselves once again. This time, the company produced their skinniest keyboard to date, and this Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 is totally wireless.
There is no Bluetooth dongle included, so make sure your computer has Bluetooth built-in before making the purchase. The keyboard is powered by 3 AAA batteries, while the numeric keypad takes just one AAA. Both will be available in October, $90 for the combo, and $45 for just the number pad, if that’s all you want.

Sony Ericsson MH907: First headphones that sense you
Posted by Mark Rollins Categories: Accessories, Music, Peripherals, Portable Audio / Video

Sony Ericsson has been promising something new with their new MH907 earphones, but we suppose their claim of “the way you listen to music changes forever” is a tad too bragadocious.
The SensMe technology is somewhat impressive, though. You put the phones in your ear, and it plays. Just take one of them out, and your audio automatically pauses. Calls can be taken in the same manner.
These earphones come in chrome and yellow/white for about $55. Of course, you will need a Sony Ericsson phone with a “Fast port” connector to use “the first stereo headphones that sense you.” There is a YouTube video below with freaky animation if you want to see how it works.

AmazonBasics: Amazon’s budget in-house accessory brand
Posted by Mark Rollins Categories: Accessories, Hot Deals, Peripherals

Not being content at being the world’s biggest bookstore or having the lion’s share of the reader market, Amazon has just recently announced their line of audio/video and computer cables, launched under the AmazonBasics brand. Right now, the Amazon cable line will include HDMI, USB, and FireWire cables, CD-Rs, DVR+R, DVD-R, networking cables and other various home theater cables.
The prices here are similar to what you’d find on Monoprice, so you know they’re affordable. If they are quality products, then Amazon could easily make a killing here. You can check out the full AmazonBasics line now.
