iPhone 2.2 beta seeded to developers

iPhone 2.2

Right on the heels of the release that seems to cure just about all our iPhone-related woes (although, honestly, some are still there,) Apple has just released iPhone 2.2 into beta, and seeded it to their iPhone devs. Officially, we are talking about iPhone OS 2.2 beta 1, and as such, we have no timetable or anything as to when this will actually hit the masses. But still, it’s nice to know that it’s coming, right? What would you like to see addressed in iPhone 2.2?

Comments:

I think the following needs to be aded into the 2.2 OS for the iPhone:
Video Recording at 30 FPS
No Freezing, hang ups, or Pausing when using ANY Apps on the iPhone
Live TV for iPhone that can be streamed over EDGE, 3G, and WiFi

These are the main things that need to be added on/fixed on the iPhone.

MMS, Copy/Paste, more consistent ActiveSync/Push behavior.

No no no.

The one and first and foremost thing they need to fix is: Ability to turn off Auto-Correction when writing SMS, Emails, etc.

MMS!  I get tons of picture messages….FROM OTHER PEOPLES CELL PHONES! Not by email! Figure it out Apple, most people have regular camera phones, not an iphone and they send TONS of MMS messages.

Please add A2DB stereo Bluetooth. Just turn it on!

Least Apple can do is to provide the basic facility for forwarding SMS. I mean, the most down market basic phone has this facility. For apple it seems, its like reinventing the wheel.

Possibility to sync subfolders over Exchange ActiveSync

What??? HERE´S what we REALLY NEED, in order.

1) DISPLAY CALL DURATION for god´s sake

2) Landscape viewing/typing in ALL apps

3) Ability to turn off Auto-correction

4) SMS´ time and date

Horizontal keyboard texting!!
