Based on a swivel and pull-out, the TV Mount is controlled by remote. What a great idea if your bathroom is just around the corner from your living room. I know that the TV locks in there tightly, but I still have a fear of it sliding off the wall and breaking! I think I shall stick with my TV sitting on a table before taking any chance with it
