Xbox, PS2, Gamecube All-in-One = Ultimate Gaming Mod

Ultimate gaming machine

Okay, so about a year ago a friend of mine showed me some of the great work he was doing as far as modding game machines go. No, I am not talking about stealing software, but rather just really cool ways to take the gaming technology we love and do some cool things with it. So many out there spend a lot of time customizing their PC boxes with cold cathode, etching, colored fans, and the like - why not do it with our gaming devices? Well, I can’t think of a good reason not to either. Behold the ultimate gaming mod - an Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube all fit into one box with a flatscreen display built right in. Just by looking at the images, you can tell it took a hell of a lot of work - but it’s freaking cool. You rock, Bird.

WOW… I was planning on doing the same but only include the NES, SNES, Dreamcast and GameCube. And without the LCD screen. It’s a great mod, congrats.

  FAG

That mod is genious. O yeah and i’m 21.  @%^*&#*  !

Where is the ‘how-to’?

Any tutorials?

THANKS

Nice to see a great mod, but i’m pretty sure it could be crammed with more effectiveness aka less space. This thing is humongous, at least open it back and add a NES to fill the gaps. raspberry

Any tuts or furthur info on this mod?

So… he put three machines into a box? I don’t see what’s impressive here. Especially since the PS2 at least is still in its origonal case…

Now, if he’d just done something like strip them all, put them in one tightfitting case, and wired it up so you could use one DVD drive for all three machines, that’d be cool.

Jealous much Fluffy

it would help me alot if you would put up a nice((mabey very detailed)) tutorial—ive been trying somthing similar for a couple of years but it has never prevailed to work so if ya want to help out fellow gamerz it would be great

i remember reading this nearly a year ago at the xbox-scene forums. some guy was really bored and decided to tackle an interesting project, the thing you see before you. i also thought i remember it having two lcd screens so that it could be set on a table and have multiplay right there. but then again i could be worng

you are never too old for video games! congrats on the invention man, awsome.

cool mad

Is the flatscreen behind the glass?  Wouldn’t there be some serious glare issues involved?

look at that last picture.  glare issues?  i would say hell yes.

It pretty cool it must have took you along time to do it. But it alitte bit to big for me.

No, you beat me to it!

0MFG TH47 I5 S() CR4ZY Y0|_| GUY5 4R3 S0/\/\E UB3R 1337 H4KZ0RS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

man.
make a tutorial!
holy crap, besides the LCD screen being beinhd the glass, this thing is awesome.
would be like a million times better though if someone made one with a NES, SNES, N64, Dreamcast, Sega Genesis, etc. (you get my point, all of em) put together. it would be thee greatest invention of all time.
toss in a 360 for a laugh too.
i love this thing.

DUDE!!! This rocks man that is totally cool. Congratulations. (where is the xbox?)

What the #### is this you guys are a bunch of ####### game freaks get a life aka. weres the xbox?

That is a sick mod you got going there, if you dont mind me asking did you run all of them off of original power units or did you get a bigger PC power unit to run it off

your stupid not 2 sell it man u could be big$$!

damn…. you beat me to it..(except i wouldnt have put the tv screen or gamecube in)

looks brilliant… how long did it take to make?

i want it!

(time to seach ebay for cheap ps2 and xbox’s)

lol aiy is it for sale

i think it sucks, min eis WAY BETTER!

freakin awesome!!1!oneone!!eleven!!!!1!!!one!!!!!
omfg I want one!!one1!!!!!!!
If you don’t think that this is cool you need to either get a life or go die in a hole.
Play it in the best place for gaming: a dark room. There, solved the flare problem.

y did you add the gc to the outside? do you have a problem with the laser getting dirty?

If GearLive made a portable equivilant you would need a forklift to carry it. Not exactly what gamers want in front room either.

this is f****ng awesome i want one and i’m 36 never to old for a sweet games console and in my eyes this is the dogs bollocks.

can you upload a video of this working on youtube or something?

That is awsome and for those of you that say it is gay you need to go burry yourselves 6 feet under!!! Anywayz did you guyz figure out how to add other systems (next gens) to the thing?? and how long did this take you guyz to make?? the building part that is!

There better be an hugeass fan for this moster.

Thats pretty hommie

pretty….......GAY
p.s. I fucked yo momma

Pretty good idea. Only minus in that mod is the gamecube laser.

I just bought this system from the guy for two thousand dollar, cause i am rich, and I love it so much. I am going to make it a portal system with some tweaking and take it to school with me and play it. I am going to use a batter from a laptop and a little tv screen.

If you bought that pos for $2000 you’re an idiot . Should have copied the idea and save your self about $1,800

This is pretty lame if you ask me.  Let’s run down why.

1.  The LCD screen, behind glass.  Should have just carved out a hole for it.  Nuff said.  I’d like a T.V. Not a mirror, thank you.

2.  Anyone could have took off the cases and slapped them in a big box.  Where in the hell is the cooling units on that thing.  1 isn’t going to cover it.  Heat RISES.  Doesn’t sink.  People learn that when?  In like 5th grade if I’m not mistaken.  There would be more issues with that thing over heating than anything.  Coupled with the fact that the LCD screen is INSIDE this box, it’s going to get warm.  Could have A) carved a hole for the LCD screen or B) cut holes in the TOP.  Since heat rises.

And 3.  The size.  Freaking HUGE.  Where in gods name would you put something that huge?  Flip it on it’s side, use it as a foot stool and play games on it?  I mean really.

All in all, good idea, but at the same time, VERY bad idea.  Think someone should have done a bit more R&R on it, before cramming everything into a box.

my question to you is how much for this package deal.  also with this package can you slip the emulator chips in the game systems so that i have every game for all the systems.  also can you throw a wii in there also,of course with emulator chip also.  maybe a ps1, and atari2600 games also, neo geo, dream cast, genisis,i’m an old schooler and remember and stilllike these games.  my phone number is 631-772-8436.please to give me a call and we will discuss this further.
                                                                              thank you
                                                                              MATTHEW
