Transcend Information last week unveiled a tiny new MP3 player with a rather unique design. Known as the T.sonic 530, this new player line offers flash memory storage capacities of 512MB and 1GB.
Transcend’s T.sonic 530, said the company, supports MP3, WMA and WAV music files and sports a self-luminous color OLED display for viewing song information and such. One feature Transcend seems to be particularly proud of with this player is its karaoke-style display function, which displays the words of the song on the display for singing along to.
Other features of the T.sonic 530 include a FM radio/recorder with 20 presets, a digital voice recorder, A-B repeat function, 12 user languages, six equalizer settings, 15 hours of battery life via a rechargeable Li-ion battery and an auto-power off.
