Fujitsu said yesterday their flagship LifeBook N6400 Series notebook would be powered by the new Intel Core 2 Duo processor and is scheduled for availability during the fourth quarter of this year. No specific price was given.

Like previous LifeBook N6400 models, this new Intel Core 2 Duo powered model serves as a desktop replacement unit. It will be among the first of Fujitsu’s machines to have the new Intel processor and will have features like a high-contrast 17-inch display as well as an integrated sub-woofer and built-in stereo sound system.
