I think we are each other's toughest critics, but we also, I think, love each other's work more than anyone else. The Hysteria actress - who recently gave birth to her second child with actor husband Peter Sarsgaard - intested to see how she copes with bringing up two youngsters at the same time.

"I'm curious to see how much I remember about nursing and changing diapers. About all of it. I have no idea how to do it with two. Having children is the most humbling thing you can do," the 34-year-old mother told USA Today.

The parent to Ramona, five, and Gloria Ray who was born last month, admitted that she and her partner are worried about juggling their schedules.

In her new motion picture she plays Charlotte Dalrymple, a women's rights activist in Victorian London. The Tanya Wexler-directed film revolves around how the vibrator was created. "'Peter was joking with me the other day. He said, 'How are either of us ever going to work, ever?' We've figured out pretty well how to do it with one. At first we would take [Ramona] with us. Now she's in kindergarten and it's important that she's settled. I wouldn't take her out for any old thing," she confessed.

I didn't let anyone know until three and a half months this time. I went to film festivals. I'm throwing up in the bathroom and having to keep pretzels in my purse, and having to fit into dresses."

Peter recently revealed he and Maggie were thrilled to know the gender of the baby as it gave them a chance to try out names before she was born: "It's the nice thing about knowing the gender of a child; you don't have to call it 'it,' which gets really weird after seven months in. Maggie Gyllenhaal Feels For Jake

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Rants,

Maggie and Jake GyllenhaalLoving mother and sister Maggie Gyllenhaal “feels sorry” for her brother.

The Dark Knight actress is saddened her younger sibling Jake Gyllenhaal is constantly followed by paparazzi and admits that his celebrity lifestyle has changed him as a person.

“Of course, everybody does change as they grow up, but I think it’s really hard for anybody who has to figure out a way to manage it. Like in Los Angeles, I don’t always know where to avoid going—sometimes you just walk right into a paparazzi nest. I get so angry, really upset. They chase him in their car and it’s just different for him. More than anything I feel sorry for him that he has to deal with that.”

Maggie, 31, and her family—actor husband Peter Sarsgaard and their two-year-old daughter Ramona—split their time between America and Britain to avoid the intrusion into their private lives.

She explained to Britain’s Marie Claire: “When Ramona was born, it was bad. We were living in the West Village in New York, where all the paparazzi are, and it got frenzied. They never bother us in London. We were at Wimbledon, walking around with sausages and champagne, and we thought, ‘We are so lucky we can do that—I don’t want to give it up.’”

Maggie Gyllenhaal Admires Kate Winslet

Maggie and daughter RamonaMaggie Gyllenhaal looks to Kate Winslet for parenting skills.

The 31-year-old actress, who has two-year-old daughter Ramona with husband Peter Sarsgaard, is in awe of the way the Revolutionary Road actress raises her two children.

“I try to protect my personal life, and most of all my daughter. But I also recall things people I admire have said in print that have helped me. I’ve thought, ‘Oh, wow, Kate Winslet thinks that way about parenting,’ or, ‘Meryl Streep thinks that about acting.’ So I do also believe that it’s good to let a little bit out.”

Despite wanting to reveal some aspects of her private life to her fans, Maggie is not interested in hearing what people think about her. Referring to internet search engine Google, she explained, “You can’t go and Google yourself. You just can’t. It doesn’t feel good. Just step away from Google, absolutely. How can you ever choose things in your life that will please everyone? The same goes for reviews. I can do work I’m proud of, but then people don’t like it and it just ties you up in knots.”

Celebrity Fashion Trend: The Orange Dress

Blake LivelyMaggie Gyllenhaal

Since orange just currently happens to be my favorite color, it’s no coincidence that two of my favorite looks from this week are orange red-carpet dresses.

While it’s not an easy shade to wear, I think that Blake Lively (at the The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 2 premiere) and (at Japan’s Dark Knight premiere) both pulled the hue off beautifully.

What do you think?
