Jon Cryer: Charlie Sheen’s Sacking Was Awful

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, CBS, Gossip, News, Rumors,

Charlie Sheen and Jon CryerJon Cryer believes Charlie Sheen's sacking from Two and a Half Men was an "awful thing to be part of."

The 46-year-old actor - who starred alongside Charlie before he was removed from the show after a public spat with its creator Chuck Lorre and calling Jon a "troll" - did not enjoy watching the troubled star leave the show and was "surprised" by how it happened.

"I never want to go through that again. It was an awful thing to be part of. I'm glad that some peace has come out of it. I was surprised with everything that went down."

Jon has now been joined by Ashton Kutcher on the show, and he reveals he has "worked hard" on the set of the comedy. He added to the KLTA morning show in Los Angeles: "Ashton was amazing. He took the roof off the place. The man works hard for the money. It's a lovely vibe."

He refused to divulge how Charlie's character Charlie Harper dies in the show but added it was "funny." The forthcoming season of Two and a Half Men featuring Ashton Kutcher comes to TV on September 19.

Glee- Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) kiss Victoria Jackson

Victoria Jackson, best-known for her 6-year stint on SNL, summed Glee’s “Original Song” episode up with one word: “Sickening!” She accused the producers of the show of “shoving the gay thing down our throats” and making a “mockery of Christians.”

“Everyone knows that two men on a wedding cake is a comedy skit, not an ‘alternate lifestyle’! There I said it!” Jackson’s comments appear in her column at WorldNetDaily.

Jackson was best-known on Saturday Night Live for her ditzy, blonde characters and high-pitched voice. In recent years, she has been politically active and strongly outspoken against liberal candidates and leftist media coverage. Perhaps ironically, she is a strong supporter of Fox News (which is owned by Fox Entertainment Group, which owns 20th Century Fox Television... which distributes and produces Glee).

Adrianna Palicki as Wonder Woman

You don’t have to like latex to appreciate Adrianna Palicki’s amazing figure in the newly-revamped Wonder Woman costume. Palicki will take on the dual role of superhero/Diana Prince in NBC’s new reboot, and she’ll be doing it with a fierce gold whip.

Not bad. Palicki definitely has the Amazonian look down pat, though some purists are having strong reactions to the notable costume changes (Wonder Woman in pants?! Inconceivable!). But Lynda Carter, TV’s first Wonder Woman, is voicing no complaints.

Charlie Sheen Rant Cancels Two and Half Men Production

Charlie Sheen isn’t finished with the Two and Half Men producers -- not by a long shot. The troubled actor engaged in a well-publicized rant against the minds behind his CBS show in which he called Chuck Lorre a “stupid, stupid little man,” along with a few other things.

CBS immediately canceled production of the show for the reminder of the season, and potentially all eternity. Sheen, who is currently in the Bahamas, turned to TMZ again to respond to the news. In an open letter, he said Lorre “tried to use his words to judge and attempt to degrade me.”

Oscar Hosts Not Using Ricky Gervais as a Model

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Award Shows, Specials, ABC, Gossip, Video,

“I can guarantee that if you’re looking for someone to call people out, we’re not your hosts,” Anne Hathaway recently told The Hollywood Reporter.

Her comment is a reference to the Golden Globes as hosted by Ricky Gervais. The British comedian won a lot of laughs, and raised plenty of eyebrows, with his none-too-subtle barbs aimed at those in the filmmaking industry.

“I think that humor is really difficult to pull off, and I’m not particularly adept at it. I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it,” Hathaway continued. She’ll be co-hosting the Academy Awards this year with actor James Franco. In the video above, the pair explain how they happened to be paired up as hosts for the event.
