VIDEO: YouTube Star Sings on Ellen, Talks to Lady Gaga

Imagine your mother texting you at school to let you know that you’ll be appearing on Ellen.

That’s exactly what happened yesterday to Greyson Michael Chance - the young boy who has rocked the Internet with his Lady Gaga cover.

After seeing his YouTube video, host Ellen DeGeneres immediately flew out the 12-year-old - apparently he’s not 13 - to not only perform “Paparazzi” on national TV, but to speak on the phone with “Miss Gaga” herself.

I can only imagine how low his classmates’ jaws will drop now.

Lady Not Gaga About American Idol Editing

is raging on Twitter about her American Idol performance (though not for the same reasons I raged about it). According to the songstress, “FOX POORLY + AMATEURLY edited+cut my performance/musical arrangement on Idol.” And thank goodness. The interminable number lasted for a horrifying 5 minutes on Wednesday’s Top 5 results show - the actual performance was 6.5 minutes long!

Wanna see the entire performance (not recommended)? Watch the video above - if you dare.

Meanwhile, stay up-to-date on all the elimination interviews, behind-the-scenes gossip and recaps - read all our posts.

American Idol 9: Top 5 Results

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, FOX, American Idol, Video,

The Top 5 American Idols kicked off results night with a medley of tunes. The four competing men came out to sing “The Lady is a Tramp.” Crystal Bowersox, sole female remaining in the competition, then appeared to croon the song. I believe it was a bit of a bad choice, that song. Aaron Kelly, of course, sang a few bars from “When I Was Seventeen” as the number progressed. “Night and Day” and “Under My Skin” were also featured.

Glee to Go (Lady) Gaga

Lady Gaga and Madonna

Attendees at PaleyFest 2010’s Glee event got a number of juicy spoilers concerning the show’s remaining episodes.

What musical moments can fans look forward to when the program returns on April 13? A Madonna-themed episode, duets with Neil Patrick Harris…and even a Lady Gaga cover.

“She’s arguably the most important pop star right now,” co-creator Ryan Murphy said about the “Bad Romance” singer. The unnamed tune will appropriately be featured in an episode about the “power of theatricality.” (Let’s hope lesbian prison porn is not included.)

Launch My Line to Feature Lady Gaga

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Bravo, Gossip,

Lady Gaga in black mask

This could either be the hardest or the easiest challenge ever.

Back in November, Lady Gaga made a brief appearance on an episode of Gossip Girl. Now, the “Bad Romance” singer will become the major focus of Launch My Line.

In an upcoming episode of the Bravo reality series, the aspiring fashion designers will be tasked with creating a “boundary-pushing, Gaga-esque.” Based on everything we’ve seen the musician in so far, it’s hard to imagine what the last-place team could possibly produce.

That Launch My Line episode will air on January 6.
