VIDEO: Patti LaBelle Thinks Idol Judges Aren’t Qualified
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Reality, FOX, American Idol, Gossip, Video,
In a recent interview, Patti LaBelle revealed that she, like twenty-plus million other Americans, is an American Idol watcher. “It was so sad,” she said of last Tuesday’s performance episode, referring to many negative comments made by the judges to the show’s female singers.
“I was asked to be a judge before Paula [Abdul] was asked to be a judge, and of course I said no,” she revealed. “Some of the judges, I don’t think they’re qualified to even judge,” she added. When asked to add any names to that comment, LaBelle answered “nevermind.” She finished up her Idol spiel with a few inspiring comments to all the would-be singers of the world. LaBelle is lovely and well-spoken, which is viewable in the video above.

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Daytime, Talk Shows, Syndication, Oprah Winfrey Show,

Although his widely-read reviews are still accessible online and in print, there is one thing longtime fans of Roger Ebert have had to do without. Now, thanks to the aid of Scottish technology, movie lovers will once again be able to hear the famous critic speak again - with his own voice.
On tomorrow’s episode of Oprah, Roger will sit down with his old friend Oprah Winfrey for his first interview since leaving the air in 2006. Ebert, who was first diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer in 2002, has been unable to speak since the illness took part of his jawbone and forced him to go silent.

VIDEO: Howard Stern Won’t Work with Ellen DeGeneres
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, FOX, American Idol, Gossip, Video,
Howard Stern stopped recently to talk with Entertainment Tonight on the prospect of judging American Idol. The rumor has been flying for weeks that Stern is going to get the gig, though he says it hasn’t been offered to him and he doesn’t seem too keen to accept it. “The show’s in trouble without Simon Cowell, because he’s the only one with an opinion,” the radio star said of Idol‘s future - a future that, apparently, will not contain both Stern and new judge Ellen DeGeneres.
The talk show maven has reportedly stated that she won’t work with Howard Stern, and will in fact leave the show if he’s brought on board. In response, Stern is now saying that he won’t work with her, either.
