Miley CyrusMiley Cyrus is in talks to join The X Factor.

The "Climb" hitmaker has reportedly been approached by Simon Cowell's team and is said to be in negotiations to take one of the two places on the judging panel left vacant after the departure of Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.

"There have been talks with Miley," a source told Celebuzz.

If Miley, 19, does take up the role she will join Simon, L.A. Reid and most likely Britney Spears, on the show. Simon has previously confirmed talks with Britney, saying, "I would love to have her on the show ... I think she would be a fascinating person to sit next to." One of the sticking points delaying the agreement has previously been cited as the number of series she would have to commit to. "Money is not an issue for the show. As of now, they are looking to pay her $12-15million for the first season, with a drastic price hike for a second year based on ratings performance. Simon Cowell wants at least a two-year commitment and Britney wants an out clause if she doesn't want to continue after one year of service," a source said.

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan was reportedly a "total nightmare" on the set of Glee. The troubled actress turned up late on set and is believed to have not prepared for the role when she arrived to play a part on the musical TV show.

"Lindsay was a total nightmare yesterday (August 25). She was three hours late in the morning and when she did finally arrive, she just didn't want to be there. She did not want to work. She did not memorize her lines and she kept disappearing so no one could find her," a source told E! News.

Lindsay filmed the first part of her role in the show - which is set to air on May 15 - last week, but the follow-up shots was not as successful. Lindsay spokesperson Steve Honig, however, claimed it was a "misunderstanding," which made her let for her call:

"The production team came to us and said that they wanted to start [with Lindsay] right after lunch, which was at 2. They wanted to begin with Lindsay at 3, so that meant she had a lot of time where she wasn't doing anything. That's why people didn't see her. She was then in hair and makeup and began after lunch at 3. If there was a problem yesterday, I would have just said 'no comment,' however I can't ignore this because this is utter B.S. This is a classic example of people trying to bash Lindsay. She busted her ass yesterday and is back on set again today."

The Australian singer and multi-instrumentalist's track was featured on a the show earlier this month, but he was less than impressed with the results: "They did such a faithful arrangement of the instrumentals but the vocals were that pop Glee style, ultra-dry, sounded pretty tuned and the rock has no real sense, like it's playing to you from a cardboard box," he told Australia's The Sunday Mail.

Alec Baldwin as Jack DonaghyAlec Baldwin has hinted he is leaving 30 Rock.

The 54-year-old actor - who plays television executive Jack Donaghy in the NBC comedy - has hit out at the network after The Today Show sent a news crew to his house following the arrest of a French-Canadian woman on charges of stalking him and said he was leaving the network "just in time."

"Outside my apt today, along side the other stalkers from the tabloid press, a crew that identified themselves as being with the Today Show. The television crew camped outside my apt said they were with the Today Show. #howthemightyhavefallen. I haven't appeared on the Today Show in many years. But did they have to camp outside my apt? A story about stalking sure brings out the stalkers in the media. But, the Today Show? No one from NBC contacted me until the Today Show arrived at my apt. I think I'm leaving NBC just in time (sic)," he wrote on his Twitter.

Cee Lo GreenCee Lo Green thinks X Factor bosses should be "concerned" about The Voice.

The "Bright Lights Bigger City" hitmaker - who sits alongside Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton on the panel of the NBC talent show - isn't worried about the rival singing program going up against the series because he believes they are "completely different."

"The premises of each show are just completely different. I think if anybody should be concerned, it's them," he said when speaking on The Tonight Show.

Earlier in the current series of The Voice, the 37-year-old singer broke down in tears three times in an episode of the talent show during the emotional Battle round. Cee Lo was crushed while struggling to choose who to send through to the next round out of hopefuls Justin Hopkins and Tony Vincent, and he was also cried during rehearsal when one wannabe sang Cindy Lauper's "True Colors."

"This song moves people, that's what this song is doing right here. That song made me cry, man. I'm proud of you all, man. Wow, dude. OK man, OK I surrender. I don't sing like that. I can't help but be humbled by it. Final words of advice, live it, love it and just be in the moment," he said after the performance.
