In Treatment: Terms of Endearment actress Debra Winger will be working out her issues on the coming season of the HBO show. The Oscar nominee will reportedly play a “formerly big star” who is suffering from anxiety over her career. A return date for Treatment has not yet been announced.

After nearly three decades - 30 years! - with CNN, Christiane Amanpour said farewell to the cable channel last week. The network’s chief international correspondent and anchor of Amanpour left her longtime home to become the new anchor of ABC’s This Week.
“This is our final broadcast, and I want to say what a privilege it has been to be at CNN for the past 27 years,” Amanpour said on Friday. “To have had the opportunity to report the news to you all over the world, from all over the world. I have tried to be your eyes and ears in pursuit of the truth and the stories that beg to be told. That’s been my mission in the field and here in the studio. My team and I would like to say ‘Thank You,’ and we’d like to leave you with some moments we’ll never forget.”
The clip above gives you an idea of what we can expect when Amanpour makes her Sunday morning debut this August.

MONDAY (5/3)
- Romantically Challenged (ABC, 9:30): “Shawn romances Lisa’s friend Vanessa because her cable system carries the hockey championship games and his doesn’t.” She didn’t realize what type of scoring he had in mind.
- Castle (ABC, 10pm): “Beckett and Castle investigate the death of a big-name chef found frozen in a restaurant’s kitchen.” This would not be a good time to be The Naked Chef.
- Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood (Oxygen, 10pm): “Tori and Dean’s relationship is tested after uneasy rider Dean takes a spill on the motorcycle racetrack, landing him in the hospital. The accident leaves the couple conflicted—until Dean issues an apology.” The one who should apologize is the one the audience cares about the least.

-Could The Office survive without Steve Carell? The comedian recently told the BBC that the upcoming season will “probably be” his last year.
-Dexter fans can breathe a sigh of relief. A “fully recovered” Michael C. Hall is expected to return to work this summer after battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
-HBO has new date for you to mark on your calendar. Entourage and Hung will both premiere on June 27, two weeks after True Blood‘s debut.
-Could Matt LeBlanc use some Friends? Both Thomas Haden Church and Claire Forlani have dropped out of Episodes, LeBlanc’s new Showtime comedy. Church blames scheduling conflicts; Forlani’s reason is unknown.
-Love is in the air on CNN. Anchors John Roberts and Kyra Phillips were recently engaged. Roberts proposed last weekend during a game of golf.

To celebrate Betty White’s SNL debut, the Game Show Network will host a seven-hour marathon of the octogenarian’s greatest game show moments. White, a once-frequent guest on Match Game, will be the central programming theme for the cable network from 9 am to 4 pm on May 8.
White appeared on the show from 1974 to 1977 along fellow celebs like Eva Gabor, Richard Dawson and Brett Somers. Match Game was a slightly naughty Mad Libs-style game where contestants did their best to match celebrity answers - and really, it’s great fun. If you’ve never seen the show, Betty White Saturday is a great excuse to check it out. During the marathon, viewers will be treated to classic Betty White moments. She’ll show off some exotic dancing, have ice cubes thrown down her blouse and make jokes about her famous then-husband Allen Ludden.

Katie Holmes to Play Jackie Kennedy in TV Miniseries

The Gift‘s Katie Holmes and Greg Kinnear will soon be reuniting for an entirely different project. It’s just been announced that the former costars will be headlining an upcoming miniseries about The Kennedys.
History Channel’s eight-hour event, which is reportedly “being annotated and vetted by History’s resident historians,” will focus on the personal relationships within the famous family.
The television project is not to be confused with Jackie, the big screen biopic Darren Aronofsky has planned about the hours after JFK’s assassination. (British-born Rachel Weisz is scheduled to play the First Lady in that film.)

In need of a fix right now? Then take a view moments to watch this new “minisode” featuring Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), Pam (Kristin Bauer) and some Fangtasia auditioners. The slightly NSFW clip - one of several that HBO is releasing - will help fill some gaps between Seasons 2 and 3.
