Mili Pro LED Projector for iPhone/iPod touch

Mili Pro Projector Plug your iPhone/iPod touch into the Mili Pro LED projector and it will increase an image or video on your tiny screen to 5 to 70-inches with a resolution of 640x480 and 10 lumens of brightness. The portable clamshell has a built-in dock and speakers, and VGA and AV ports can be utilized for external sources. The Mili Pro will arrive for all this September.

The Muji Wall-Mounted CD Player is a combination of retro style and human power. The player is wall mounted and works by a pull-string, like Mattel’s See ‘N Say. Volume and playback control is on top and speakers are integrated into the main body. At a size of 6.9 x 1.6 x 6.9-inches and a weight of 1.2 lbs, the device comes in either black or white for a price of $178.00. A bit high, but think of the savings by not using batteries.

Kenwood Speakers/OLED Lighting

Kenwood has developed stereo speakers that also contain OLED lighting. The company claims that there will be about 80% energy savings, which means you can purchase a couple more speakers. Kenwood also plans on using the light/speaker as an energy-efficient Fire Exit sign that can double as a loudspeaker and deliver emergency announcements. We hope they plan on using very calm voices if used in public venues.

Hyoutan Speakers The hyoutan is technically a type of cucumber that can be eaten and also used as a sponge, gourd, birdhouse or instrument housing. Bird Electronic in Japan decided that it would also make a pretty good speaker that would produce a “soft and natural” sound. The Hyoukan Speaker Double cone has a mini-adapter to connect to your iPod or other audio player. They can be hung or placed on a shelf and come with a MSRP of ¥ 18,500 ($185.00.)

Also available in 20, 32, 42 and 52-inches It features a “glare reduction coating,” can be connected to a DVD or video player and has an integrated digital tuner, built-in speakers, and a huge $35,990.00 price tag.
