It seems that everyone is trying to compete with the big Apple. Korean company LG has released its LG-LH2300 Touch Web Phone. It features a 3-inch touchscreen LCD (800 x 480) with a WVGA res. It has a 3 megapixel camera with auto-focus, Internet browsing, a microSD memory card slot, and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. With its hot key, jog wheel, and T-DMB, multi-media activities will be super-simple. The smartphone will cost ~$650.00 and become available sometime in early April.

Casio has unveiled its latest EXILIM digital cam, the Zoom EX-Z9. The compact camera features 8.1 megapixels of image res with a 3X optical zoom, a 2.6-inch LCD display, anti-shake DSP and 23 shot modes. Available in your choice of black, silver, pink, or orange, the digicam also has the company’s YouTube capture mode that allows you to record and upload videos in three simple steps. You can upload family photos, artsy stuff, or your cat staring into your camera. To kick off the site, they are sponsoring a Spring Photo Contest. We loooooove our digital camera, don’t get us wrong. But all the myriad settings, buttons, menus and whatnot can be a bit much sometimes. That’s why we appreciate the concept of the EasyDica camera from Yanko. It’s ultra-tiny, ultra-thin, has no settings or even an LCD screen. Just a viewfinder and one sole button to snap your masterpiece. Not much information is available about it, but apparently, the EasyDica recharges (and presumably uploads photos) via its USB port. Strangely, there’s no info on pricing or availability, but we’re very intrigued…
