Toilet Lid TunesIf you like music while you are spending time in the bathroom, the Toilet Lid Tune automatic system will provide the entertainment. Place the player on the top of your tank, then choose from specific soothing jazz tunes or nature sounds, or let the device pick them at random. At a size of 7 x 5 x 2-inches, the TT plays when the lid is up and automatically shuts off when it is down. Its peel-and-stick plastic sensor is waterproof and washable and the gadget requires 1 C and 3 AAA batteries (not included.) At a price of $29.98, we are not sure this will work with most of the guys we know, but it’s a welcome respite from the worn out copies of People Magazine that we keep in there now.

J. Lo USB Flash Drive

These days, making fun of is the equivalent of shooting fish in a barrel. And the Latina diva is not doing herself any favors with this gadget she‘s endorsed. To promote the release of her new CD “Brave”, the multi-hyphenate, along with luxury cellphone company Gresso, released a limited edition 1GB flash drive, made of African mahogany and engraved with her initials.  The drive also includes a copy of “Brave.” Not so bad…until you discover the drive costs a whopping $70 USD! This writer actually likes some of Jenny’s songs and flicks (yeah, I said it), but feels the expectant mom is in serious need of an ego check.

AT&T PantechFor AT&T phone users, the company now offers music from Pandora. Type in a song or artist, and the service creates a station for you in that genre. We have enjoyed the service for a couple of years now, but for the rare bird that is not familiar with it, Pandora works on the basis of its Music Genome Project. All songs have been analyzed by musical qualities such as harmony, rhythm, lyrics, and melody to suit your preferences. If you already have the service online, AT&T will deliver the music through a universal account. If not, you can subscribe for $8.99 a month after a 5 day free trial. They also offer a MEdia Max bundle with browsing and access to video for $19.99.
