Justin BieberJustin Bieber wants to become an action movie star.

The "Boyfriend" singer wants to branch out of singing and into the world of cinema, and is hoping to get a break in the next twelve months. "By this time next year I'd like to win a Grammy, maybe that will happen and I'd like to do some movies, stuff like that. I actually want to do some comedy movies, as well as some action, some stuff that is going to be challenging," he told the UK's Capital FM Radio show.

When asked whether he had the right martial arts moves to cut it as an action star, the Canadian singer joked, "I actually have a black belt... It's a black Louis Vuitton belt."

Justin - who is dating singer and actress Selena Gomez - also told how he had recently lost his expensive Rolex watch, which was given to him as a present from someone, although he wouldn't say whom.

Justin Bieber Film ‘Worth the Wait’

Justin Bieber and Mark WahlbergJustin Bieber's basketball movie will be "worth the wait."

The "Baby" singer is set to star in an as-yet-untitled picture alongside Mark Wahlberg, and although no script is yet in, Mark believes it will be a particularly good film.

"We're waiting for the script. Waiting for the script. Every time I see Bieber or Scooter Braun, I have to explain to them that it's a bit of a process having the script written. It certainly has to be something that's good enough to go and have green-lit and make right away. But I think it will be well worth the wait."

Mark previously said the movie would be in a similar vein to The Color of Money, with Bieber playing a young up-and-coming sports star. No schedule is yet known for when the film may be released.

Although it would be Justin's first feature, it would not be his debut in a movie theatre - he previously appeared in his own concert movie Never Say Never.

adolescent teen boys get all the luck…if they know Will Smith.

’s manager (whose name, by the way, is Scooter) let it slip in October’s Teen Vogue that the Biebs will take the leading role in a new feature-length film that Smith is producing.

If we could get Will’s kid Jaden in this thing and have both boys record another song together, the money would just rain down from the sky.

Considering the subject matter of the flick, we’re pretty sure that’s just how it’s going to go down. According to Scooter—and who could doubt his professionalism?—the film is a “fictional piece that may have some similarities to Justin’s life.” Production is “likely” to begin next spring or summer.

It pays to have friends in high places…and an entire horde of demanding tween girls as your fan base.
