Matthew McConaughey: Stripping is a ‘Drug’

Matthew McConaughey says stripping is like "a drug."
The 42-year-old actor was told by director Steven Soderbergh that he didn't have to bare all in new movie Magic Mike - in which he plays former stripper Dallas - but knew he would regret it if he didn't flash his flesh, and was surprised by how much he enjoyed the experience.
"It wasn't in the script, but Soderbergh said in the beginning that if it felt right, I could strip at the end of the movie. I said, 'I gotta dance, man.' I would regret it for the rest of my life if I was in a male stripper movie and didn't get up there and strip myself. At first it was scary as hell, but then it became like a drug, and I couldn't wait to do it again. Look, I love to dance, but I've never been a stripper. Channing [Tatum]'s one of the best hip-hop street dancers I've ever seen, and I didn't want to challenge his style, so I worked on my own strengths. I also knew that my dance had to be the dirtiest. It had to be wonderfully filthy," he admitted.

Robert Pattinson Willing to Get Naked for Film
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Rumors,
Listen closely, ladies: Robert Pattinson is willing to get naked on screen for the right role.
The British actor, who plays vampire heartthrob Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies, would consider taking his clothes off if he thought the part required it.
“I think it would depend on what it is. And I don’t think a lot of people would really want to see that. I think it would ruin the illusion!”
Although he would be prepared to strip for a movie, the 23-year-old star admits he finds nudity embarrassing and struggled when he had to shoot explicit scenes for the 2008 movie Little Ashes, in which he played a young Salvador Dali.
“It’s funny because Spanish people have no problem with nudity at all, and I mean at all. And English people obviously do have the most enormous problem with it. Little things, like when I saw my father getting changed for swimming, I was traumatized by it… I kind of freaked out a bit.”
Jennifer Connelly Not Bothered by Nudity

Jennifer Connelly wishes actors wouldn’t get embarrassed by sex scenes. The Oscar-winning actress admits getting intimate with a co-star is awkward, but insists it’s nowhere near as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
“Sex scenes are incredibly awkward, they’re always uncomfortable. I think they’re overused and people get very flustered by them,” Connelly said. “People don’t know how to discuss them and there’s a lot of embarrassment. It’s not my favorite thing to do, but there are circumstances in which they make sense. I just wish people wouldn’t dance around them.”

Quote of the Day: Anna Paquin on Nude Scenes
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Movies, Television,

“I don’t think a naked body is particularly shocking or interesting… It’s not the culture I was raised in. I was not brought up in the United States. I don’t share the [attitude] that you can have graphic violence, but – God forbid – you see someone’s nipples.”
