Did Julia Louis-Dreyfus Copy Katie Holmes’ Look?

On the left, we have Katie Holmes in a garment she and her stylist designed for the August premiere of Tropic Thunder. On the right, we have Julia Louis-Dreyfus sporting a Narciso Rodriguez creation for the 2008 Emmys.
Now, is it just me - or do the two dresses (aside from a few minor differences) look incredibly similar?
