During last week’s premiere of the HBO series Big Love, had a few choice words for the Mormons of the world.

Hanks is one of the executive producers of , a scripted series which showcases a family of polygamists (who are also Mormon). TLC did the same thing, only theirs was a reality show - and never quite managed the success HBO’s project has found.

While at the premiere of the new season, Hands spoke out against “Prop-8,” which is properly called Proposition 8. This law was proposed in California - and passed - to ban same-sex marriage. The passing of the law stunned much of Hollywood, and many stars have spoken out against Prop-8 as a result. Even though the deal is done, they’re still talking. And so’s Hanks.

According to a rep for Kimberly Caldwell, the two former American Idol contestants are no longer making music together. The two had been dating since last summer, right after Cook asked the TV Guide host out before the reality show’s Season 7 finale.

Although the split happened “just before the holidays,” Cook, 26, was openly talking about Kim and his post-Idol life back in November. “I think she just gets that this is all nuts. She’s a nice break from the chaos,” David told People.

Fergie and Josh DuhamelThe Golden Globes wasn’t the only place where celebs were partying this weekend.

This past Saturday, (a.k.a. Stacy Ferguson) and Josh Duhamel were married during a ceremony in Malibu. The wedding comes just over a year after the two became engaged.

Those in attendance at the nuptials included the singer’s Black Eyed Peas band members, Kate Hudson (Fergie’s co-star), and new parents Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell. Several actors - James Caan, Molly Sims and Vanessa Marcil - from Duhamel’s former show (Las Vegas) were also present.

Stacy, 33, and Josh, 36, have been together since September 2004. This is the first marriage for both.
