Angelina Jolie

After keeping to her homes in France and Germany, emerged yesterday for the cameras stateside.

Jolie - who arrived in New York earlier this week - stepped out last night for a dinner with Clint Eastwood, her director, and co-star Amy Ryan. (Their movie premieres October 24.) It’s the first time she’s braved the paparazzi since the arrivals of Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.

Kevin CostnerWhat do you do when your movie career fizzles? Well - if you’re Jessica Simpson

, you turn to country music.

Kevin, who was last seen in , recently told People that he will be releasing a country album next month.

While this might seem like surprising news to most Costner followers, the 53-year-old has been moonlighting as a musician for quite some time now. In fact, some of his Modern West band members have been working with him for nearly 20 years. (Not that this qualifies them to sell any tracks or anything.)

The album - which Kevin co-wrote six songs for - is due out on November 11. Assuming the actor doesn’t line up any other acting gigs (he just recently wrapped work on The New Daughter), the band will be out touring by the end of this year. Expect the ladies of to feign interest shortly.

And up until now, I thought Dave only liked to make Paris Hilton squirm.

Last night on the Late Show with David Letterman, the host got his chance to talk to Anne Hathaway - the former girlfriend of con man Raffaello Follieri. Although the actress was primarily on the show to promote her upcoming movie (Rachel Getting Married), she was forced to put on a brave face when the subject of her shady ex came up.

Given the host’s natural tendency to bring up uncomfortable topics, it’s fair to say Hathaway probably expected the line of questioning. That said, I still felt a bit sorry for the girl.

It’s time once again to congratulate those celebrities entering into parenthood:

Emma Watson as HermioneEmma Watson in Italian Vogue

While Daniel Radcliffe has been working to separate himself from his popular boy wizard character, another Harry Potter star has been doing some maturing of her own.

In the recent issue of Italian Vogue, 18-year-old (a.k.a. Hermione Granger) shows us how much she’s grown in the past 7 years. She might not be appearing fully nude on Broadway like Radcliffe, but she still gives us something to be wowed by.

You can see more pictures from her photo spread after the jump.

Drew Barrymore and Ed Westwick

Earlier this week,

Gossip Girl

Vanity Fair caught doing what she does best: moving on with another man. (And by “moving on,” I mean she sought comfort with a person she will eventually discard.)

But unlike during her previous relationships, Barrymore didn’t waste time gushing about the new man in her life. She simply let her lips do the talking.

Oh - and whom would that person she’s publicly embracing be? Why that would be Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl‘s Chuck Bass). I guess that means he’s not gay?

On the left, we have Katie Holmes in a garment she and her stylist designed for the August premiere of Tropic Thunder. On the right, we have sporting a Narciso Rodriguez creation for the 2008 Emmys.

Now, is it just me - or do the two dresses (aside from a few minor differences) look incredibly similar?

(You can view other dresses from the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards here.)

Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood

Robert Wagner is a long-time Hollywood legend, known for multiple movie and television roles. Just as famously, Wagner was known as the husband to child star Natalie Wood - the little girl who charmed the world as cynical, gum-chewing Susan Walker in Miracle on 34th Street. Wagner starred TV shows like It Takes a Thief and Hart to Hart.

In his new memoir Pieces of My Heart, Wagner reveals that he enjoyed an affair with another screen goddess. I actually know a good deal about Wagner, Wood and even how figures into their strange story.
