Charlie Sheen was ordered to make peace with Denise Richards by his TV show bosses.
The Anger Management actor had launched a string of abusive messages at his ex-wife - who he claimed stopped him seeing their daughters Sam, nine, and Lola, eight over the festive season - but apologized on Wednesday, and it has been claimed he did so as FX, the network which airs his sitcom, told him he had gone too far.
"[The executives told him] he had to tone down the negative rhetoric towards Denise Richards because it was getting so much negative publicity. After Charlie posted those disgusting messages on Twitter that Denise was a pig and media ho, the bosses stepped in and said enough," a source said.
Insiders are said to be concerned that Charlie is "out of control" and no longer has steadying influences around him. "Charlie is spiraling out of control right now, and making matters worse is that his three most trusted advisers recently quit. The people that used to be able to talk him off the ledge in the past, just aren't there. Charlie deleted all of the negative posts about Denise from his Twitter profile and did issue a mea culpa to Denise. One minute Charlie can be the calmest, most chill person, and in a flash, he switches into this crazed maniac. It just makes no sense," the source added.

Russell Brand "really loves" Jemima Khan.
The 38-year-old comic - who split from Katy Perry in December 2011 after just 14 months of marriage - says his relationship with the magazine editor is "very different" from anything he has ever experienced and he couldn't be happier.
Appearing with Jemima's dog on an episode of The Jonathan Ross show airing tomorrow, he was asked what would happen to the pooch if they split, prompting him to reply, "Don't say that mate, I really love her. That would hurt my little heart. I'm going to be really kind in this relationship. I haven't been out there trying to nail everyone. I'm very, very happy in a relationship that feels very different from anything I've experience before. I feel like its grounded in friendship and a sort of love and it's all well cool and exciting and stuff, but it feels different for me. She's a gorgeous, beautiful woman. I'm still superficial. I'll still only go out with top crumpet."

Shia LaBeouf has apologized for getting into a bar fight, insisting he is just a "normal" person.
The Nymphomaniac actor was caught on camera apparently headbutting a fellow drinker in the Hobgoblin pub in New Cross, south London, after he allegedly insulted the mother of his girlfriend Mia Goth and video footage has now emerged of him issuing a rambling apology for his actions last night.
In the video, which was posted on gossip website TMZ, he said, "I'm not trying to have any more problems, I'm just really trying to make peace. I'm a normal human being, I accept what I get into to do what I love. I'm not trying to s**t on nobody. I am a human being. I am super-normal. I'm more normal than most, but when people want to get all hostile and they s**t on my girl's mom and say things that are out of turn... I'm just trying to make peace, you know."

Miley Cyrus and Kellan Lutz have ended their brief fling.
The "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker, who ended her engagement with Liam Hemsworth in September, and The Legend of Hercules actor sparked romance rumors in December but things have already fizzled out between them.
A source told E! News that the duo "are not really hanging out anymore" due to their hectic schedules. Another insider dismissed their relationship as merely a "quick fling" and explained it "just kind of burned out."
The 21-year-old starlet was spotted hanging out with the 28-year-old Twilight Saga heartthrob in Las Vegas and Miami last month and while they were "never serious," a source said, "there definitely was a fling there."
The pair are still friends and Kellan recently described Miley as an "amazing girl." He said, "I love hanging out with her because she is who she is and she's such a shining star." Kellan also said he understood why people were interested in the idea of them being a couple: "For Miley, I've been friends with her for six years now and we run in the same circle... it's always interesting when two public figures who might be single are seen together. Oh let's start a rumor that they might be together... I just laugh it off."

The Thor: The Dark World hunk's Spanish spouse Elsa Pataky has confirmed the couple - who already have a 20-month-old daughter, India Rose - will welcome not one, but two babies when she gives birth in the early spring.
Fast & Furious actress Elsa revealed the news to Spain's HOLA! magazine, to whom she first announced her pregnancy last year. A heavily pregnant Elsa, 37, accompanied her Australian husband to the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, marking her first public appearance since confirming her pregnancy.
Proud father Chris has previously gushed about family life, saying he is never happier than when he is with his wife and little India Rose: "Being a father is certainly a task. But the best one that I could ever ask for. Being home, being with the family, that's what it's about... It makes me much more relaxed with work, because I have something that is far more important to me now."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie want to adopt again.
The couple have been talking with their six children - adopted trio Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, and Zahara, nine, and biological kids Shiloh, seven, and Knox and Vivienne, five - about welcoming another little girl into their family.
"Angelina and Brad have spent much of the festive period discussing extending their family. They've been open with the children about it and they are all excited at the prospect," a source said.
The pair initially looked into adopting a child from Jordan, but the process was too difficult so they are instead believed to be speaking to orphanages in Ethiopia, the birthplace of their eldest daughter. "They have always wanted Zahara to have a sibling who shares her African heritage. Ideally they'd like a little girl aged between two and three," the source added.

Olivia Wilde is expecting a baby boy.
The 29-year-old actress - who is six months pregnant with her first child with fiance Jason Sudeikis - let the tot's gender slip as she revealed he is extremely active during the 71st Annual Golden Globes on Sunday. "He was kicking the whole time, going, 'Where are we?!'" she said.
The blonde beauty - who had covered her bump in a sparkling Valentino gown for the ceremony - is embracing her pregnancy curves: "It's great I've never had boobs before!"
And the Her star admitted she is glad her bump is becoming more prominent. "Until about a week ago, I just looked fat! I wanted to be like, 'I'm not fat, I'm pregnant!'" she told People.
While Olivia loved the green gown she donned for the awards, not everyone was a fan. "I just heard someone say I looked like a giant, walking pickle last night at the Globes. As a pickle enthusiast, I thank you," she tweeted.

Charlie Sheen's girlfriend has reportedly convinced him to evict his ex-wife Denise Richards and their children from their home.
The Anger Management star's lover Brett Rossi is reportedly so jealous of his former spouse that she wants him to kick her out of the house she lives in, but he owns, in a gated community in California. Denise has lived in the posh pad with daughters Sam, nine, and Lola, eight - whom she has with Charlie - and her adopted two-year-old daughter Eloise, for over a year because it is close to her children's school.
"Brett wants Denise out of the neighborhood because she is insanely jealous of her. She complains that whenever she leaves the gated community, she is forced to drive by Denise's house, and she just doesn't like it," a source close to Brett said.
Charlie fell out with Denise last month after claiming she deliberately took the children away from him over the festive holiday so they couldn't spend Christmas with him. However, it is believed Denise, 42, is aware that 48-year-old Charlie - who she divorced in 2006 - wants her out of the property he owns, though he didn't tell her himself.

Amber Heard has been spotted with a ring on her engagement finger.
The 27-year-old actress could be set to marry Johnny Depp after she was seen with what looked like a huge diamond on the ring finger of her left hand as she entered a Los Angeles restaurant on Monday.
According to E! News, Amber and another woman dined at Ago, and as she left the London Fields star did everything she could to shield her left hand from photographers. She even waited for a valet driver to open her car door so she didn't have to show her ring finger.
Amber and Johnny first met when they starred together in 2011's The Rum Diary but didn't get together until 2012 after the breakdown of his 14 year relationship with Vanessa Paradis, with whom he has Lily Rose,14, and Jack, 11.
