Gary Busey Freaks Out Jennifer Garner, Laura Linney

During E!‘s red carpet coverage of the Academy Awards, actor hit the trifecta when he managed to weird out Ryan Seacrest, Laura Linney and .

You know a situation is extremely uncomfortable when two professional actresses can’t act like it was all spontaneous fun.  After being mauled by Busey, the Juno star then irritatingly referred to him as ‘this man’ before (understandably) running away.  Seacrest was then left to get rid of the actor as gracefully as possible.

Jimmy Kimmel’s Response to the Sarah Silverman, Matt Damon Video

On a special post-Oscar show, late night host issued a response to the now classic Sarah Silverman/Matt Damon video.  (If you haven’t seen it yet, you can watch it here.)

Although it wasn’t nearly as funny as the original creation, the video did have some choice cameos:

Big Brother 9: Two House Guests Rushed To The Hospital

Posted by Jacci Lewis Categories: Prime Time, Reality, CBS, News, Video,

Big Brother 9I’m starting to firmly believe that the house is cursed. First there was the Autism controversy that convinced Lowes to yank its advertising, then a massive brawl that was mostly too offensive to show on network TV, and finally a contestant’s gay porn career was revealed on the internet.  Now we’ve learned two of the contestants in the house had to be rushed to the hospital last night in two separate medical emergencies.

Amanda, a 23-year old paralegal from Minnesota, collapsed and began having seizures. She is reportedly hypoglycemic and wasn’t getting enough nutrition due to some type of food restriction that hasn’t been explained yet in the version of the show. (As I’ve mentioned before, cameras from the house stream live footage 24/7 to people who pay to subscribe.)  Other house guests had to activate what’s called the “panic button” reserved for real-life emergencies. That button contacts police and/or fire personnel.

The clip of Amanda’s seizure is almost too disturbing to watch which, of course, has made it an instant hit on .  (You can see some of that video after the jump.)

First Four Idol Castoffs Fail to Inspire Tears

The First Four Castoffs

Call me cold-hearted, but I did experience an element of delighted, albeit mean-spirited, glee during Thursday night’s American Idol elimination show. With the exception of one contestant, I was singularly pleased with the results.  (America, so far you are choosing well.)  Again, with the exception of one. But Thursday nights on FOX are less about eliminations and more about shameless self-promotions, as the proved.

First, props to the producers for listening to me. After I pointed out the disgraceful lack of style and fashion sense among the males, some kind stylist got ahold of them all and put them in perfectly matched black suits. Even their white button-ups were identical. This is what I’ve been saying - if the contestants can’t dress themselves, please someone do it for them. Before they take the stage next time, mmkay?

Late Night Hilarity: Silverman’s Special Gift to Jimmy Kimmel

Last night, ! celebrated its five year anniversary on .  To help mark the occasion, comedienne presented a very special message to her long-time boyfriend:

‘Entertainment Tonight’ Pulls Heath Ledger Video

Entertainment TonightWho says public pressure doesn’t work?

Just a few weeks ago, did an about-face and canceled plans for a Britney-centric show.  (He claimed it was an act of consideration for the family.)  Now and are throwing out the word ‘respect’ as the reason for one of their own cancellations.

The two tabloid shows were scheduled to air a video involving and drugs this Thursday night.  The 2006 tape - which was practically aired in its entirety for Wednesday’s promo - showed the actor in the vicinity of drugs (and drug users) at the Chateau Marmont.  Although it wasn’t clear if he was taking anything in the teased bits, his audible comments made it clear he wasn’t doing something his girlfriend () would approve of.  He is also heard talking about their recently-born daughter, Matilda Rose.

Although I have never seen the full video, the shortened version was more than enough.  The teaser’s over-the-top narration was extremely salacious, gratuitous and insensitive.  I was so bothered by what was shown….and I apparently wasn’t the only one.  Late Wednesday, reps for both shows confirmed the sweeps segment had been pulled.  Here is a copy of the short statement printed on ET’s website:

“Out of respect for Heath Ledger’s family, “Entertainment Tonight” and “The Insider” have decided not to run the Heath Ledger video which has been circulating in the world media.”

Ellen DeGeneres’ Doggy Troubles

Posted by Wendy Michaels Categories: Daytime, Talk Shows, Gossip, Rumors,

Ellen DeGeneresWow. I just saw the video of breaking down on her show about her pet adoption. I had read about it, but it really is heart wrenching to see her sobbing. She spoke about a pet adoption that turned bad after she gave her adopted dog, Iggy, to a hairdresser. The dog’s energy level was a bit too much for her existing cats so she found a loving home with her hairdresser and her two daughters. Turns out that’s an oops, since she violated an agreement she signed with the Mutts and Moms Dog Rescue. Under the contract, if she was unable to keep the dog, he should have been returned to the rescue. Wrought with emotion, DeGeneres said, “I thought I did a good thing. I tried to find a loving home for the dog because I couldn’t keep it.” A few days after giving the dog to her hairdresser, a rep from the rescue and the police came and took the dog from the woman and her 11 and 12 year old daughters. Now, I understand the need for a contract, but you also have to agree that Ellen is an animal lover and she truly only had the best interest of the dog in line. She explained, “I feel totally responsible for it, and I’m so sorry. I’m begging them to give that dog back to that family. It’s not their fault. It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have given the dog away. Just please give the dog back to those little girls.”

Watch Britney Spears’ New Video for ‘Gimme More’

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, MTV,

It for some reason you don’t see the YouTube video, you can find a very short preview of it here.

new video for ‘Gimme More’ is not officially scheduled to debut until Monday—but here’s your chance to get it out of the way now.

After you finish watching the clip, ask yourself these questions:

  • Was the sense of nausea you felt a result of the shaky editing or something else?
  • Did her hair remind you of Demi Moore, Cher or Morticia Addams?
  • Is it even possible to dance with shorts lodged so far up your rear?
  • Did you find yourself laughing more than voyeur Britney did in the video?
  • Was there even a point to the whole thing?

If you feel compelled to watch the video again on a much larger screen, set your Tivo to Monday’s on .
