Melrose PlaceMark Schwan, noted producer of One Tree Hill, is no longer attached to the remake. Does this mean the whole project is off?

Dawn Ostroff, president of entertainment for CW, is “in negotiations” with a mysterious someone who’s name has not been released. If all goes well, however, the new Melrose Place could be on TV as early as next fall.

wants the show to be based around 20-somethings, as it was in its first life on TV, but the network definitely wants original cast members involved as well. There’s nothing definite on that end. “We’ve talked about everybody, but we haven’t spoken to anybody yet,” explained president Ostroff.

90210 Shocker: Is Brenda About to Die?

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Rumors,

EW CoverWhen I saw the promo for the next Brenda-infused episode of 90210, I was so busy celebrating the return of I almost missed the content of the previewed scene: she’s in a hospital bed. Even this isn’t extremely shocking…until you pair it with the current rumors which are sweeping the Web.

Many are suggesting that Brenda Walsh is going to become ill and die, the first in the original cast to find such an on-screen fate. The CW and Doherty aren’t commenting, but recently broached the subject with Access Hollywood.

“This is all news to me,” he said of the rumor, saying the idea is “fantastic.” He continued, “that is going to be awesome. No, they haven’t given me anything yet. I don’t even know if the episode is written yet, but I love all those rumors. That is juicy stuff.” You said it, Brandon.

Which is exactly why I think the rumors have been instigated by the show itself. Many fans are drawn to the series for the hope of seeing Brenda alone…so why would they get rid of her?

America’s Next Top Model 11: Good Times & Windmills

ANTM logo

On this week’s episode of , the four remaining ladies - Analeigh, McKey, Marjorie and Samantha - got to to take things to a whole new physical level. When they weren’t learning to sell products with gestures and facial expressions, they were busy planting their lips on a hunky male model. One girl even spent some of her free time kissing someone who wasn’t in the industry. But we’ll get to that drunken story a little later…

For this week’s lesson, the women got a little more one-on-one time with . It was the former supermodel’s job to show the ladies how to sell products without using their voices. How does a spokesmodel sell fish when no one can smell it? How can they make toilet paper look soft when consumers can’t touch it? How can they make phone conversations seem exciting when the reader can’t hear them?

ANTM logo

After weeks of lessons, runway shows and photo shoots, we finally got to “see” what the ladies of were made of tonight. Followers of the show know what that means: it was time for the Final 5 to go on their go-sees.

Before heading out on their journeys, the models met with Frederick Koster, the managing director of Touché Models. After explaining the evaluation process - the girls would be judged on their portfolios, their walks, their appearance and their personalities - Koster gave the women maps and directions. The goal was to meet as many designers in the allotted 4 hours as possible. If they did not make it back to the agency on time, they would automatically be disqualified.

90210 to Explore Teen Pregnancy?

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Rumors, Spoilers,

90210 Cast

UPDATE: If you’d like to find out the name of the potentially pregnant character, click here.

Rumor has it that story lines are going to get even more complex on , The CW’s Beverly Hills spin-off.

According to gossip, an already-troubled character will have a new problem added to the mix: an unexpected baby. Insiders say the show will aim to deal with issues that both teens and adults can relate to, somewhat in the way the original used to tackle its subjects. One source even says the new episodes are “getting better.”

Since they promise to contain scenes with original BH cast members like and Jennie Garth, I have no doubt this part of the rumor is the truth. As to the other stuff…we’ll just have to wait and see.

I was starting to feel like this day would never come. The day when only six remained on America’s Next Top Model 11. (Does anyone even remember the name of the show’s first transgendered contestant??) Just as a reminder, the girls chosen to represent America in Amsterdam were Analeigh, Elina, Marjorie, McKey, Samantha and Sheena. Did anyone manage to embarrass us on their first day there? Read on!

America’s Next Top Model 11: Now You See Me, Now You Don’t

ANTM logo

Even though it had been two weeks since the last original America’s Next Top Model, it was like no time had passed. Joslyn was still frustrated by her downhill slide, Sheena was still frustrated about not being considered “modelesque” and the unemotional Europeans (a.k.a Elina and Marjorie) were both still frustrated about being misunderstood.

Doherty Return a Done Deal for 90210

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, The CW, Gossip,

Description I knew there was a good reason I kept watching 90210 even after Brenda Walsh randomly disappeared. The CW has officially announced that will return to the series to do two episodes for sure. She might even do more (please, Shannen, do more!).

Doherty left the original after four short years in 1994. Despite re-emerging on TV several times over, she’s still Brenda Walsh to most of the viewing public. And it only took her four episodes to find Walsh-like fame once more.

She’ll reprise her role again in the 11th and 12th episodes, scheduled to air next month, and will appear on screen with ’s Kelly Taylor yet again. Think we can manage to keep watching until she returns?

America’s Next Top Model 11: The Fiercee Awards

ANTM logo

On this week’s episode of , the girls learned that modeling wasn’t just about showing up and looking pretty. It was about discovering who you were and not being afraid to let go. It was about knowing your best traits and embracing your warts.

Given Clark’s recent elimination, the remaining eight ladies realized they couldn’t afford to take their critiques for granted. Elina still had to overcome control issues, Lauren Brie had to deliver a personality and Analeigh needed to find her niche.
