Although most of the recent attention has been focused on Freida Pinto, another Slumdog Milionaire star has just been cast in a high-profile project.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Anil Kapoor - the “host” of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? - will be joining the cast of 24 next fall. (Kiefer Sutherland just announced that he would be around for a Season 8.) The 49-year-old Indian actor is scheduled to play a Middle Eastern leader in America on a peacemaking mission.

Production on Day 8 starts next month.
