recently disappeared from the limelight after the tragic events surrounding her family occurred. Though she appeared in ads, she has not appeared in public since the headlines hit. But last night Hudson returned to center stage and the public eye in a big way. Hudson’s stirring performance of the National Anthem was at once powerful, prideful and heartbreaking - and her star is still definitely on the rise.
