How Charitable: American Idol
With three nights of American Idol quickly approaching, the show is prepared to dominate the week’s ratings once more. But don’t worry - it’s all in the name of charity. And it seems that everyone involved with the show is getting into the spirit of things.
Host Ryan Seacrest, who reportedly earns $14 million a year (Forbes), has decided to forgo his usual paycheck for Sunday night’s Idol Gives Back special (which airs Wednesday). See Seacrest work for free tomorrow night, when Idol will take over no less than two and one half hours of programming. Yowzah.
