For those of you still unsure about joining the Mad Men bandwagon, there are several ways you can sample the series before the program returns:

• Rent Season One. (It was just released on DVD earlier this week.)
• Watch the marathon airing on July 20.

If Mad Men‘s remarkable costume design has you yearning to travel back in time, you could have your chance. AMC is offering one lucky viewer a walk-on role in the show. Those interested can find more information here.

Meanwhile, actress Elizabeth Moss (Peggy Olson) has just given TV Guide a bit of scoop as to what we should be expecting later this month. The former West Wing-er says a bit of time will have passed since we last saw the offices of Sterling Cooper:

“Well, it picks up a couple of years later, which is very interesting. It gives us the opportunity to not only see what’s happening two years later, but for us to explore what has happened during that time. It in a way picks up at the same place, and in a way it picks up in a very different place.”

Oh, I can’t wait! Season Two of the Golden Globe-award winning drama premieres Sunday, July 27 @ 10pm.
