Thank goodness I wrote that tween primer the other day. Otherwise, I’d probably have no clue who half these girls were.
When I mentioned that Selena Gomez was now linked to Nick Jonas, I forgot to mention one minor detail: Nick Jonas was previously linked to Miley Cyrus. That last piece of information is important because it’s believed to be the reason behind Miley’s recent YouTube parody.
In the following clip, you will see a video made by Selena Gomez and friend Demi Lovato. You will also see Miley and her friend, Mandy, doing their best impressions of the two girls. Do you think Hannah Montana was being funny…or was she simply acting nasty?

Here we go again. There’s yet another television star who wants to make it as a singer. This time around Hayden Panettiere (Heroes) is the one assaulting our ears.
In a recent interview on his radio show, the 18-year-old told Ryan Seacrest she’s invested a lot into her music. In fact, she’s actually been working on her album for four years. (I can only imagine what 14-year-old Hayden would have produced.)

Feist Performs 1234 on Sesame Street
Okay - this was just too cute not pass on.
If you don’t have a reason to watch Sesame Street on a regular basis, you can have your brief moment of childish fun here. For the show’s upcoming premiere, Feist has put together a special version of its song ‘1234.’
Warning: If you’ve worked hard to get that iPod commercial out of your head, this may not be the best clip for you to watch.

The camcorder has a 680 pixel CCD sensor with a 720x480 res, an aspect ratio of both 4:3 and 16:9, a 2.7-inch LCD display, a Scheider 34x optical zoon, and a swivel grip. It also features noise reduction tech, 3 hours of battery life, and Samsung’s Advanced Image Stabilization technology. A look at Friend Book for iPhone from Tapulous

See, it’s things like this that get me super excited for the App Store. The app is called Friend Book, and it takes the iPhone contact list and adds a bunch of fantastic features. You get thumbnail images for contacts that you have pictures of, an alternate view that allows you to tap on a face to dial. However, what I love is the Handshake feature. Using the built-in GPS, it determines if two iPhones are in the same place running the apps trade function. If they are, and both phones shake, information is traded. How cool is that? This is going to be one of the first apps that I download as soon as I am running iPhone 2.0 software.
Ali Lohan’s Musical Debut

It’s no secret that Ali Lohan is trying to follow in big sister Lindsay’s footsteps - she’s already said as much in her interviews. Ali, 14, has recently debuted her first single “All the Way Around” (it can be found here on YouTube). Here’s the surprising part: it’s pretty good.
The somewhat repetitive song has a rhythmic R&B feel that’s somewhat different from Lindsay Lohan’s poppy sound, and Ali’s vocals sound very mature. Ali calls her soon-to-be-released album “more hip-hop. Kind of like Rihanna.” If this first single is any indication of Ali’s sound, I think the album could be pretty good. All the way around.

You hear it all the time on these shows, but do you really pay attention to how often those words are spoken? Check out the video for a reminder of what these reality shows are all about - you gotta be in it to win it. Don’t hate on these contestant for keeping their eye on the prize. After all, the name of the game isn’t “America’s Top Best Friend.”
Potential Rogers iPhone customers livid at prices in Canada

Check out the above clip from a Canadian new story, reporting on the price gouging going on with Rogers Wireless over in the Great White North. We feel their pain, as the Rogers iPhone 3G pricing plan is an utter rip-off. So much so, that some Rogers customers are even considering leaving their contracts behind with the company. For all the details on the plans, hit the video above, but the suckiest part is that you only get 400 MB of data on Rogers. That is nothing. Compare that to AT&T in the USA, where you get unlimited data with an iPhone plan.
Rogers says that their plans offer customers “high value bundles.” What? Potential customers have started a site over at Ruined iPhone to collect all the negative comments, and press associated with this story.

Alright, we’ve given you details on the iPhone 3G pricing scheme, let you know that the iPhone 3G launches at 8:00 AM on July 11, and even hit you with the iPhone 3G Guided Tour. Not enough for you? Well, AT&T put together a video showing how they are preparing for the iPhone 3G launch, and even what you can do beforehand, and on launch day, to speed up your purchase. They are calling it being “iReady.” Yeah, they went there.
Spencer Pratt vs. Mary-Kate Olsen

After being made a fool of on David Letterman (twice!), Spencer Pratt has decided to lash out at former classmate Mary-Kate Olsen.
Earlier this month, The Hills star made a guest appearance on the late night program and was put on the hot seat by the talk show host. (You can see that video here.) When Pratt claimed that he receives fees of $100,000 to appear at clubs, Letterman simply couldn’t hold back the laughter.
Fast forward to past Thursday when Mary-Kate Olsen was on the same show promoting her new movie, The Wackness. David asked if Olsen had gone to school with any of the young stars in the news today—and that’s when the subject of Spencer Pratt came up. (You can see this clip after the jump.)
