Logitech G27 Racing Wheel for Playstation 3, 2, and PC

Logitech keeps doing a lot of cool things with its webcams and their Unifying Receiver and whatnot. The latest trick up their sleeve is an upgrade to the G25 Racing Wheel, with the G27. This one has a shift-indicator telling you when to go up or down a gear, and six programmable buttons (three on each side of the wheel.) It is good for PS3, PS2, and Windows games. You can pick one up for $300, and they’re available for pre-order on Amazon.

I swear, Logitech must have some department that puts out cool technology daily, as they’ve just released two mice that can literally work on glass, something that has always seemed to evade us. Both the Performance Mouse MX ($100) and the Anywhere Mouse MX ($80) use Darkfield Laser Tracking Technology to accomplish this feat, and they’re both available now. Logitech introduces two new iPod speaker docks: S325i and S125i

The last time we were discussing Logitech, it was in regards to the unveiling of nine new webcams. Now the company has shifted our focus to their new iPod speaker docks, as they have two new ones that we want to let you in on. The S325i (pictured above) is iPhone-compatible, and powered by a rechargeable battery good for 20 hours. The S125i is powered by 4 AA batteries, but doesn’t seem to support the iPhone. Both of these will be available later this month, with the S325i retailing for $129, and the S125i for $69.

Logitech’s Unifying Receiver Solves a Common USB Problem

I’m certain that many of you have the problem of too many USB devices and not enough USB ports. Fortunately, Logitech is helping to solve this problem with their Unifying Receiver. It is basically a wireless dongle that is designed to work with many new Logitech products including the K350/K340 wireless keyboard ($59.99/$49.99), as well as the Marathon Mouse M705/M505 ($69.99/$49.99). Granted, Bluetooth could do the same thing, but those devices are a bit more expensive. We like where Logitech’s mind is at, so kudos to their forward thinking.

Logitech’s Seven New Webcams

Consumer electronics giant Logitech has comes out with over seven new webcams that include the Webcam Pro 9000, Portable Webcam C905, Webcam C600, Webcam C500, Webcam C300, Webcam C250, and Webcam C200.
The prices vary from $99.99 for the Webcam Pro 9000, pictured above with a 2-megapixel sensor for 720p video. The least expensive is the $29.99 Webcam C200 with a 1.3 megapixel sensor with VG video capture. All the information can be obtained below from the official release.

Logitech Guitar Controller for Xbox 360

Just as they previously came up with a wireless Guitar Controller for the Playstation, Logitech announced a new version for the Xbox 360. The licensed device features a wooden neck, metal frets and a rosewood fingerboard, with a strum bar and fret buttons. The Controller has a wireless range of about 30 feet and will be ready to tackle Guitar Hero in August in the US and Europe. You can pre-order now for $199.99.
