Activision New Game Lineup

We already mentioned the new Guitar Hero 5 that will be coming out this year. In addition, Activision has released the rest of their lineup for PS2, PS3, Xbox and Wii that includes:

If you’re an NBA fan, then this HP Take All the Action With You contest is going to be right up your alley. Even better? We are partnering with about 24 other sites to bring you some exclusive prizes as well. We will go into all the details after the jump, but here it is in a nutshell:
By entering the HP-Microsoft contest, you are entered to win a grand prize that allows you to see Kevin Garnett and the Celtics play a home game in Boston, and an away game in a West Coast city. That’s right, coast-to-coast baby! That includes VIP tickets to the games, airfare, hotel, and some HP gear as well. At the very least, check it out. So, that’s one contest. But the real deal is that we are having our own giveaway with 24 other sites, with the prizes being 2 trips to the 2010 NBA All-Star Game in Dallas, TX, including travel, accomodations, and a ticket to the game. Gamer Wins Real Racecar Slot

How cool would it be to become a real race car driver just by playing a video game? Ask Lucas Ordoñez, who won the Nissan/Playstation GT Academy contest. The game was Gran Turismo and the prize was becoming part of the European GT racing team. In his first race, Lucas crashed on the final lap, but still managed to come in third. The team will hit Italy next and has 4 more races this year. By the way, real training was included in the prize.

Logitech Sells Its Billionth Mouse

Yesterday, Logitech announced that it shipped its billionth mouse, although it hasn’t gone very far as yet. Around since the 80’s, the company claims that it sells 7.8 million per month in about 100 countries. To celebrate the event, Logitech is backing a contest that allows anyone to follow Billie the mouse’s journey and try to figure out where it will end up. You may already know that Sims creator Will Right has been hard at work making Spore, a game that involves evolution of unicellular creatures to intelligent life. Electronic Arts has released the Creature Creator, free editing software that you can use to devise your own Spore and customize buildings, vehicles, etc. Over 250,000 of them have already been built and displayed on the Sporepedia Website. If that isn’t enough to keep you busy, there is now a video/dance competition. The $49.95 game will be available for PCs, Macs, mobile phones and Nintendo DS this September.
