50 Cent has been released from hospital.
The "In Da Club" rapper is "doing fine" after being treated for minor back and neck injuries following a car accident yesterday morning in New York. A spokesperson for the 36-year-old star - whose real name is Curtis Jackson - said in a statement, "Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson was involved in a car accident in New York early Tuesday morning. He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine."

50 Cent Hospitalized After Car Crash

The "Candy Shop" hitmaker was taken to Queens hospital with possible injuries to his neck and back after a collision between his SUV - which was being driven by someone else - and a truck in the early hours of this morning on the Long Island Expressway in New York City.
According to Thisis50.com, the incident occurred when a red truck rear-ended his bullet proof vehicle and it "almost flipped over." Fifty - whose real name is Curtis Jackson - and was put on a stretcher and taken to the nearby medical facility, along with his driver.
But a source close to the rapper has revealed both the 36-year-old star and his driver are "fine" and that "he's good."
It's not the first time 50 has been at Queens this year after he was previously hospitalized due to a bad bout of food poisoning.
Prince Philip is Released From the Hospital

The Duke of Edinburgh - who had been admitted with a bladder infection earlier this week - was allowed to leave the King Edward VII Hospital in central London in time for his 91st birthday yesterday.
Philip was in typically blunt form, telling reporters who asked him if he was feeling better: "I wouldn't be leaving here if I wasn't." However, he paid tribute to the staff who cared for him, shaking hands with them all as he left and thanking them for caring for him during his five day stay. Philip then climbed into the front passenger seat of a Land Rover Discovery vehicle before being driven away from the hospital, with a police escort.
"His Royal Highness left hospital today. He continues to improve and he will now continue his convalescence at home," a Buckingham Palace spokesman said. The spokesman added the duke would be spending his birthday "privately."
Philip was taken to hospital after spending hours on a ceremonial barge in rain and a cold wind as part of a flotilla of 1,000 vessels on the River Thames to mark Queen Elizabeth's landmark Diamond Jubilee. Royal aides said he was treated with antibiotics and made good progress during the week.
Lindsay Lohan Suffered ‘No Serious Injuries’

The actress was released from hospital on the same afternoon she was admitted, after her vehicle plough into the back of an 18-wheel truck.
A representative says she was brought to Santa Monica UCLA hospital only as a precaution and she had no serious injuries. Lindsay's assistant - who was traveling in the passenger seats and went to hospital separately from the star - also has been declared physically fine.
The website reports that she headed directly from the ward to her original destination following her check up.
The troubled actress was driving her black Porsche on the Pacific Coast Highway when it hit a large vehicle. According to TMZ.com, the rear bumper was taken off the car and the passenger window was smashed.
Elton John Hosptialized with ‘Serious Respiratory Infection’

The "Rocket Man" singer was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles in the early hours of yesterday morning. He has subsequently undergone tests and doctors have told him he cannot perform for seven days, meaning he will have to cancel four concerts of his Million Dollar Piano residency at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace scheduled for the weekend.
Elton was told by medics he needs "complete rest and antibiotic treatment to prevent damage."
The 65-year-old musician - who has a 17-month-old son Zachary with his husband David Furnish - is now thought to have left hospital and is resting at home.
"It feels strange not to be able to perform these Million Dollar Piano concerts at the Colosseum. I love performing the show and I will be thrilled when we return to the Colosseum in October to complete the 11 concerts. All I can say to the fans is 'sorry I can't be with you,'" he said.

George Michael Released From Hospital

George Michael has been released from hospital and is flying back to England today. The 48-year-old pop star has been receiving treatment for pneumonia at the AKH clinic in Vienna, Austria, for weeks but after making a recovery from the illness he was discharged from the medical center at 8:00am and was taken straight to the airport so he can be at home for Christmas.
"He's feeling a lot better. He's doing so well, he's able to fly again," said a hospital staff member told Austrian newspaper Osterreich.
Yesterday, the singer's doctors revealed he was feeling much better and had responded well to treatment. Christoph Zielinski - one of his doctors - said, "We know he's doing fine and we are generally optimistic."
Last week, the singer's boyfriend Fadi Fawaz claimed the pop superstar would be flying back to England for Christmas: "Christmas at home. I cannot stop smiling today, the best day ever. He is getting better and better. Nothing to worry about, happy days."
George had to cancel all the remaining shows on his Symphonica Tour when he fell ill in November.
Michael Lohan Rushed Back to Hospital

Michael Lohan has been rushed back to hospital, just hours after being released.
The showbiz patriarch - who is the father of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan - was taken into hospital after complaining of chest pains last month, and underwent heart surgery in the hope of unclogging an important artery on Monday. While the 51-year-old star was released from hospital in Fort Myers, Florida, this morning after the surgery was deemed a success, he was rushed almost straight back to the emergency room with a bacterial infection.
"When Michael went back to the rehab center he was running a really high fever, so he went directly back to the hospital. He's in the emergency room now," his friend Tom Murro told RadarOnline.com.
Once the former Wall Street trader's condition is stable, it is thought he will return to his court-ordered treatment facility, where he is currently participating in an anger-management intervention scheme after pleading no contest to four domestic violence charges against former fiancee Kate Major.
Selena Gomez Rushed to Hospital

Selena Gomez was rushed to hospital Thursday night. The singer-and-actress - who has been dating Justin Bieber since the beginning of this year - reportedly felt ill while taping an interview with chat show host Jay Leno and was taken to a Los Angeles hospital immediately afterwards.
Sources told gossip website TMZ, Selena, 18 was complaining of nausea and a severe headache and is currently undergoing tests. The exact cause of her illness is not yet known.
Meanwhile, Selena revealed during her chart with Jay on The Tonight Show that her parents, Mandy and Rocardo - who divorced when she was five - are huge fans of her boyfriend: "He passed the test."
Justin's family also approve of Selena after he took her on a recent trip to his hometown of Stratford, Ontario in Canada to meet his family. "Justin and Selena had lunch with Justin's cousins and his aunt and uncle. They were really sweet and make an adorable couple. They looked happy and in love. They acted just like everyday people, very down-to-earth. Justin is part of the community, he's one of us and is as friendly as can be," said a source.
Zsa Zsa Gabor to Have Part of Leg Amputated

Zsa Zsa Gabor is to have part of her leg amputated.
The 93-year-old actress was taken to hospital yesterday to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles to undergo surgery as gangrene was setting in to her right limb.
"She developed a lesion on the leg that had swollen a while back and caused her to go to the hospital for treatment, but it has not responded. In fact, it has increased in size, and the doctors have wanted to operate for several days. They're going to have to amputate part of her leg. They said if they didn't, she could lose her life," said her representative John Blanchette.
Although she had been warned to go to hospital earlier, Zsa Zsa had been keen to spend the Christmas and New Year period with her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt.
"Frederic and Zsa Zsa asked if they could spend New Year's at home, and they shared champagne and caviar. The doctors came to the house today, and when they unwrapped the bandages, they saw that the wound had festered and they were afraid of gangrene developing, which would be life-threatening," Blanchette said yesterday.

Lily Allen Suffers Miscarriage

A rep for Lily Allen confirmed recently that the British singer lost her unborn baby last Saturday.
"It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby. The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made."
While cancelling her performance at Elton John's fundraising event seemed unusual, no one suspected much until the singer posted, "Say a little prayer," on her Twitter early Saturday morning. It was later revealed that she was rushed to the hospital for stomach pains on Thursday afternoon and kept there for observation. Just hours after she wrote on the microblogging site, she lost her unborn son.
The tragedy comes nearly three years after she had miscarried her first child with then-boyfriend, musician Ed Simons.
