Henry Cavill is dating Gina Carano.

The Man of Steel star and the Haywire actress stepped out arm-in-arm at the 18th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards in California on Thursday evening, where Gina was nominated for the Best Actress in an Action Movie prize.

It was the first time the couple - rumored to have begun dating in September 2012 - made their romance official at a public event and the 29-year-old new Superman actor and the former MMA fighter, 30, didn't leave each other's side all evening.

Henry's profile has skyrocketed since landing the iconic role of cape-wearing hero Superman in Zack Snyder's upcoming reboot of the comic book favorite. The star secretly split from his fiancee, professional show jumper Ellen Whitaker, after three years together in 2012 and the news broke last August months after the event.

A source told Us Weekly at the time, "There was no fallout. They just both agreed it wasn't working. They broke up three months ago."

Henry has yet to speak about calling off the engagement and when he was quizzed about their lack of contact last summer, he replied, "I'll talk about that another time. This summer I am taking time off and relaxing."
