I hope Jake Gyllenhaal has found happiness with new sweetheart Taylor Swift – because his former favorite blonde has officially moved on.

After nearly a year of dating, Reese Witherspoon and Creative Artists Agency agent Jim Toth are now the latest celebrity pairing to become engaged. The news was confirmed by the 34-year-old actress’ rep.

“They are extremely happy,” her spokesperson stated.

Reese and her 40-year-old first started seeing each other back in January, shortly after Witherspoon’s on-and-off relationship with Gyllenhaal ended for good.

The Oscar winner’s divorce from actor Ryan Phillippe was finalized in 2008. She has two children – Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7 – from that seven-year marriage.
