Lindsay Lohan’s arrival at the Beverly Hills Courthouse today was different from her others in many ways. The actress appeared on time – early, in fact. She looked extremely polished. Her mother and father were even both present.

Her exit also looked a bit different from what we had seen in the past.

Based on her appearance, it seems the 24-year-old – who admittedly failed court-ordered drug tests – did not dress for ride with the police. In fact, some guessed she might avoid another trip to Lynwood, CA altogether (given the misdemeanor status of her violation and jail overcrowding)

Unfortunately for Linds, Judge Elden Fox hadn’t heard those predictions. Fox – a new judge in Lohan’s ongoing dramas – immediately ordered her into custody without even giving her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, a chance to speak. He also denied bail.

Lindsay, who came to the courthouse armed with her own jewelry, had handcuffs added to her wrists by bailiffs when the hearing was over. She was later seen crying as she entered the unmarked police cruiser. Overall, it’s estimated the entire hearing lasted 10 minutes.

Although Lindsay has a history of being released early from jail, her next court appearance isn’t even scheduled until October 22 – nearly one month from now.
