Sometimes, it’s not so great to be a celebrity (just ask Tiger Woods). While enjoying the 4th of July holiday weekend in Italy with his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, Uma Thurman and others, movie star George Clooney nearly became a Roman candle.

As the beautiful people lounged around on a boat floating on Lake Como to watch fireworks explode overhead, one gunpowder creation came careening toward the boat to send the occupants of the vessel into a flurry of motion. The boat was roughly jostled (and lit up just like the 4th of July) during the incident. So far, there’s no word on any injuries which might have occurred.
