Attorney General to Investigate Schwarzenegger’s Alleged Misuse of Funds

Arnold SchwarzeneggerThe tabloids are reporting that the former Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger, used California taxpayer funds to cover up his philandering ways. In response, the state’s Attorney General will launch an official inquiry.

It’s not just a marital spat anymore. The charges being leveled at Arnold, which come from the head of security at a California hotel, claim that he took advantage of the California Highway Patrol, using his status as Governor to have them escort his various women to and from his regular suite at the Hyatt Regency. The hotel denies all knowledge that they have employed the guard who spoke out, whose name is William Taylor.

But many members of the Highway Patrol have come forward to defend Schwarzenegger, saying he never did anything inappropriate while in office. Arnold’s lawyer, Marty Singer, also denies the allegations.

Of course, the appearance of Mistress Number Two would make anyone look at the former Governor of California with a jaundiced eye. Enter Gigi Govette, who knew Arnold before his marriage to Maria Shriver. Govette, 16 at the time, became romantically involved with him as soon as she met him (he was then 27), or so she claims.

She also claims they re-connected 10 years later, after he was already married to Shriver.

But Mistress Number One, or Mildred Baena, isn’t going quietly away. TMZ reports that she’s threatening to sue Entertainment Tonight, who aired an in-depth interview with Baena’s ex-husband.

His story? That he thought Baena’s son was his own until he found out, about a week ago, the father is actually Arnold Schwarzenegger.
