Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former Governator, has revealed that he fathered a child with a member of his staff… oh, about a decade ago. When Maria Shriver found out about it (just recently), she decided to call it quits.

Yeah, that makes sense. The mother of the child, whose identity is being withheld, worked in the household for about twenty years. She retired and now lives in a quiet little home with her four children, one of whom (TMZ reports) bears a marked resemblance to Arnold.

He told his story to The Times. “After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago. I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family.”

Maria Shriver has asked for privacy, and says her main concern is for the children (the couple has four… sorry, make that five).
